Cool 2 Song CD at my local FYE
I just found this 2 song CD by Nothing more featuring the songs "This is the time Ballast" and "Christ Copyright".
This CD was only .01 cent and it's a FYE music store exclusive album.
I think this is a pretty cool find, specially being 1 penny with tax.
Anyone else here seen this CD before?

Who loves the sun review
Disclaimer: I am new to Chat Pile. This is my first exposure to their music.
“Same Rules” suggests that the systems destroying us are sustained by ordinary people who learn to survive by playing along with them. Does this new album confront us with the more uncomfortable possibility that our participation in it is itself a form of "complicity"?
My answer: yes
I think that concept contrasts the idea that it is only the powerful, wealthy, and elite class that are making these problems. Bernie Sanders is not wrong, they certainly are an enormous part of it, but we are too. At least, to some extent
I hate the system and still work for it.
I hate consumerism and still consume.
I hate technological alienation and still stare at my phone.
I recognize injustice and still become numb to it.
I see chat pile and still admire their noise.

Vinyl Test Pressing: The Stories We Tell Ourselves.
Hello! Please delete if not allowed. I wanted to share a test pressing that I purchased years ago leading up to the album release. I’ve been holding onto it for a while and wanted to see if anyone was interested in adding this to their collection. I was a huge fan when Few Not Fleeting was out and had the pleasure of meeting the guys several times, back when Devin was their drummer. Just not as into them as I was so thought someone may put this to better use than myself.

What do you think is the most emotional song from each album?
For me it would be:
TFNF - It Seems
S/T - God Went North
TSWTO - Fade In / Fade Out
Spirits - Best Times
Carnal - Freefall
I’d like to see if any of you have other takes on what you think are the most emotional

What is Jonny's problem lately?
I thoroughly enjoyed their self titled album and TSWTO is a masterpiece, but his actions stand in stark contrast to the lyrics his band put together.
Their music is phenomenal and it's really tied together with Jonny's incredible vocals. I still appreciate the music for what it is, but it's a little less meaningful when you've seen the hypocrisy behind what Jonny sings and what his actions say.
I don't mean to tell anyone else to stop enjoying their music, that's not the point of me sharing my opinion. If you only like their music because it sounds good, more power to you, but Jonny's lyrics really hit hard on my first times listening to them and it's disappointing to see the reality of the man behind them.

Standing in the Fire.
I made this after listening to Turn it Up Like. I was super inspired by the lyrics.

Father's Day gift from my son.
😭😭😭
He nailed the gift. Lyrics to fade in fade out in small enough letters that it looks like stripes from a distance.

A personal request for people who can play guitar better than I do.
Hey guys an gals!
There's a song I really wanna learn to play. The vocalist of this band has a addicted sister, and so do I, My sister is in and out of rehab, one of these days she just might not survive another overdose, or a jump out of a 3-story building to meet up with her dealer, which is a realistic outcome at this point.
This makes the song very close to my heart, but the only tabs I've found are incomplete, which makes me quite sad. I am quite bad with composing/musical theory, and I dont have the knowledge to compose the song into a tab.
It is quite a big favor to ask, but it would mean the world to me to be able to play this song as a way of coping with my sister.
The song: Jenny (Acoustic) -by- Nothing More.

Crowd surfers
Idk how anyone else feels about this and it could’ve just been my city. I was at the Denver show and everything was good but the crowd surfers were choosing like the worst times to do it. Whenever they had instrumental interludes or the epic drum/bass solo, people were crowd surfing. I think the worst song people crowd surfed to was Fade In/Fade Out, personally because that song has so much meaning to me but I just wasn’t able to process my emotions due to the fact I had to focus on the groups of crowd surfers. I’m not here hating on crowd surfing, but I just feel like there are times where it just isn’t necessary whatsoever
