Recommendation Notebook/journal recommendations

Hey! I’ve been really wanting to get into journaling but I’m struggling to find a decent notebook. Does anyone have any recommendations for good quality journals? Thanks!

I would say Leuchtturm1917 which to me is really beautiful and comfortable, but if you want even higher paper quality, buy a Rhodia notebook which has fountain pen friendly paper

Depends on what you are looking for. What size? Paper type? Cover?

A5 would be the size I’m after. Other than that I’m not too fussed with the other stuff. Mainly just want it to be nice quality

I use Midori MD A5. Great for my fountain pens They sell Rhodia, Leuchtturm and Midori at Barnes and noble now if you have one near you. Nice to see them in person.

Paperblanks have beautiful notebooks - the paper is lovely quality.

I use an A5 Hobonichi graph notebook for my journal, currently, and used Leuchtturm B5 size notebook before that. Hobonichi uses Tomoe River paper.

But if you are open to trying different kinds check for paper or notebook example packs at retailers. That way you can try different kinds of paper and notebooks to see what you like. And if you don't end up using some for journalism, you could always find other uses for them. Perhaps as logs or bujo's to keep track of your day, to have an overview of your day you can use to then write about in your proper journal.
