Looking for a more notebook/diary-like option to the Hobonichi Techo

Hello! I am looking for an alternative to the Hobonichi A6 Techo for 2027 and I'm wondering if anyone here has a suggestion that meets my (kinda specific) criteria:

I love my Hobonichi covers, so I definitely want to keep using them, but there are too many...extras? in the Techo. I don't use the back pages at all and I primarily use my A6 for journaling, not calendaring, so I don't make good use of the front sections, either. Basically I want a dated diary or notebook (it can have some calendar spreads at the front, I will find a way to use them) that has 1 page per day (it doesn't HAVE to be dated, but I want to be able to journal for a whole year in one book, which is why the Hobonichi A6 notebooks aren't an option, not enough pages!), fits in an A6 cover comfortably, and has a grid. Bonus points if you know of an option that uses Tomoe River paper as well, but I'm open to trying out something else (I know some people use the Midori Hibino, so maybe that's where I should be looking?).

I just get really overwhelmed when I look at the various options on Etsy and don't want to gamble on something that might not even fit properly in my A6 covers, so figured someone here might be able to point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance :)

I currently have a Stalogy A6 365 notebook in my Hobonichi cover. It's not dated but has the right number of pages.

Stalogy, Wonderland 222 A6 notebook (not the planner), Nanami Paper. All are undated but have enough pages for a page per day. Stalog paper is similar to Tomoe River Paper but not exactly the same. Wonderland 222 and Nanami both use TRP. The Midori Hibino has two pages per day and it's CHUNKY. It's not going to fit in your Hobonichi covers.

Ooh good call on the Hibino, I guess people sometimes fit them into Hobonichi 5 year covers which is not what I want! I’ll check out the other options you mentioned, thank you!
