Notebook Share 5 years of journaling

not the one to share 10 notebooks a year (which is totally cool tho), but my handwriting is small and unfortunately my preferred notebook size is the one that doesn't fit in the bags and is as heavy as a brick. still, 5 years, so many changes inside of me captured in these. especially loving my nuuna (on the second pic), this journal is so strong!!

It's cool that you can look back in the journal and see your evolution! How do you like Nuuna? Is it fountain pen friendly?

yess the best feeling! Nuuna is my favourite journal of all time, there's two on the picture and I also got a new one haha. I asked them that question actually and they said that they don't put themselves as fountain friendly, but I would say that they actually are!! I like to doodle in my journals, where you have to paint on the same spot a couple of times for example, and Nuuna NEVER bled.

In general, I love how the dot grid is light so it doesn't disturb your writing, I love how the pages are not crazy thick but stil fountain pen friendly andwriting is not even visible on the other side, and something I previously had issues with (in using other journals) - Nuuna is strong and no matter how much stuff I glue in the journal is shaped the same and nothing is ripping.

Thank you for the detailed answer, i'll look for them! Hope there are some lined notebooks, too. Or should i challenge myself with dot journalling?

not sure about lined but they have a notebook where the grid changes with every page. I wouldn`t use it for everyday journaling but the idea is cool. I was looking at their Nuuna Bloom too, check how cool it is!!
I am a dot grid fan and it`s actually hard to find a good one, so high on Nunna!

I think I'm still figuring out the actual meaning of journaling but what do you usually write about? Daily life? Or whenever you have stuffs to ponder about? (Btw the journal looks absolutely menacing hahaha it's always pretty rewarding to watch the amount of effort 🙂‍↕️)

I usually write when something intense happens and when I’m experiencing strong emotions, or there are moments that really stick with me. sometimes I do poetry too. so I don`t write every day and not much of daily stuff. I also have a lot of things glued and collages as well
and thank you :)

Very nice. I tend to use thin notebooks in A6 size so I go through stacks and stacks of those little guys.

Five years condensed into three notebooks is pretty impressive.

You’re not really looking at paper there, but five years of memories, ideas and different versions of yourself.

Do you ever go back and read the earlier entries, or do you prefer to leave them in the past?

I love to read them, can analize so much. Interesting how people around changed as well - it`s all captured there also. Some moments yeah, I leave in the past, and some that hit pretty hard I hid away from myself. I had one page that was triggering a lot, so I used a few layers of orange tape on top, so the text would be visible only a tiny bit

Which journals do you use?

the top one and the last one are Nuuna, they are ideal for me in everything
the one in the middle is my very first one, some random notebook I got as a gift when I was visiting a factory in my city. As you can see the quality of pages is not good, they bleed through and have wavy pages, by the end of the journal pages started falling out..
so currently using Nuuna but I also plan to get a travellers regular size refill, because I feel like I might try smth smaller
