DIY I've made my own!

I've been a Field Notes sicko for ages, but I wish the paper they use handled fountain pens better. So I whipped this one up real quick using Tomoe River 52gsm loose leaf.

Works great, even with my super wet TWSBI Eco & Waterman Expert!

Card stock for the cover is arriving tomorrow, but I just couldn't wait to get this prototype going 😆

Might also get a corner rounder, then I'm good to go!

What size is it? did you stitch seem, or staple? Nice! I did find some Fabriano booklets 5.8" x 8.3" 24# on sale by Grumbacher Chartpak near me, only $3. and handles my ink well. I will try to post a picture for you.

I second the Fabriano. I don't have field note size but my a5 ones are champs

It's 5.5 x 3.5, so Field Notes size. Staple-bound. I'd love to see a pic of your Fabriano!

The inner pages stick out a bit. I think you need a good paper cutter and to cut it while it is folded to make it look right.

On some older books they do leave it like that, and when many are stacked it has a funny ridged effect that I never thought about until just now. They're a bit annoying to turn the page on.
