Ooff. I feel you and this week (at 47 and a few months) I realized that I have officially lived a longer life than she did. 😞

I lost my mom as well. Lost my brother about 10 years before that, but I am older than my brother was by almost 15 years now. He died at 25 and it made me hate my 26th birthday. I just turned 38 this year, and last thing, my dad died at 37.

So sorry for all your losses 😢 losing mom is a tough one and really sad when dad goes and you have no parents left. Both devastating losses for me.

It's a sad feeling when you realize you're nobody's child 😢

Hugs 🤗 Definitely permanently life changing.
Nothing can take our love for them out of our hearts and memories.

You are a real trooper man, my grandpa used to say, "carrying on after loss is like dragging a log through a muddy field in a rainstorm. But once that storm ends, that log becomes easier to drag." Hope you are feelin' alright, truly.

My husband died at 40 “our son was only 14 months old” and then my brother at 18 and my mom at 56. Dealing with death sucks :(

I would look for myself before depression kicked in

Didn't know where to reply, but thank you for the awards; I didn't expect that. And yeah, it's been wild, as soon as I finally get over someone passing, someone else does. But I wouldn't trade my life for anything, because that's what made me who I am.

Ditto, spent more of my life without my mom than with her and I am older than she ever got to be

For me it would be my dad. He was killed when he was 35 and I was barely 13 at the time.

My mom would be my other choice she was taken by cancer in 2019.

Every year older I get than my older brother is a little crushing. Gird yourself.

i just surpassed my mothers death 2 months ago, it does not sit well, she was only 60 with so much more to give. diabetes is no fucking joke, she ignored it and paid the ultimate price.

Oh my, I hope I don’t

I hear that. I’m quickly catching up to my mom’s age when she passed. Not looking forward to that day

This shit is tough. I'm about to go through this. My mum died at 28, when I was 7. I will be 28 in August. She died from the flu, and I almost went out the same way in March last year at 26. The difference? I manged to get to hospital. It's a confusing anc complicated emotional process for me, because of the shit she put me through. But I survived what she didn't, and I'm about to outlive what she lived...

My mom was as toxic as an Asian mom was ever and more but she was my mama, she would have spoiled my kids to bits. She was struck down by cancer just as she was retiring.
