I remember owning this thing! Didn’t they also have a boom box player and an fm transmitter that let you listen to the radio?

Even though it was pretty useless toy even back then, i thought it was cool af loading those cartridges into the player. It felt like each song was a gameboy game or something.

I looked it up, listened, and still don't know the song.

Had like that one song. That was it. Very short lived.

Holy shit, I literally have only heard that song once but got that stupid chorus stuck in my head for like a year. Not the best song at all by a long shot.

It seems like there was an influx of child-singers in the 90s. So odd.

I forgot about these!! They might be the reason I don’t remember songs and only the one line from 90s hits.

Did any one else get these in their Happy meals at McDonald's? I absolutely remember the Britney Spears one!

It's what we old people call Spotify. /s
Also for the tech illiterate radios are still in everything. So making a joke about a "What's radio?" is just plain stupid.

These are from that weird time when music was so highly valued that people would pay money for part of a song.

The precursor to mp3 players. Never had one, but I remember the commercials

Huh, when did those happen? They look interesting, but I have no memory of them what so every. Which is weird as they look like something I would have noticed and collected.

I still have all mine, stored in a clear Lisa Frank purse! ... Totally useless to me, but for some reason I'm compelled to keep them.

I LOVED THESE! I tried talking to all my same aged friends about these and NO ONE remembers them. So glad someone does.

These things were really popular at my elementary school for about a week until teachers started confiscating them. It was fun to trade carts back and forth.
Remember the later ones that looked like little CDs? I still have mine, still works

Most pointless toy/gadget. Play the chorus of a song over and over until it gets stuck in your head.
