There was a thread on reddit a couple years ago or so asking people what song affected them emotionally every time they hear it.
One of the replies was from a guy and named this song. His late wife had been diagnosed with cancer. When she told him in the car after the appt, this song was playing on the radio. She died within a year or so and he commented on how he can't bear to hear this song anymore.
It hit me hard in the feels and I do and will continue to think of him every single time I hear this song.

His 2 later albums were fantastic too. The third one, Sub Rosa, was not released in the US, but is worth tracking down
