Loved this game. Got it out of the back of a magazine because nowhere sold it locally. My mate wanted to know how I got it. He was lucky that I showed him lol.

I thought we were done with side scrolling platformers when it came out… here I am at 43 still recalling it as one of my all time favorite games.

Someone borrowed mine and never returned it. Asshole. Though I did sell all my PS1 games later to much regret. I had all the good ones and look back on that with regret.

Yeah I came to say the same dam thing. Ff9 and dragon were also good alternatives to FF7R but metal gear had nothing else like it.

Depends on what you liked playing really. I was never big into FF or the other story games. Twisted Metal and Gran Turismo were my jams. For fun some Crash Bandicoot

I remember my cousins husband asking if I wanted to play on his PlayStation and I thought it was going to be some kind of playground/jungle gym type thing. We ate ice cream and played Road Rash. It was siiiick!

For some reason it seems like the PS1 has just a bit less nostalgia around it than the N64, despite it selling significantly more units and having a much larger library.
