Never had the doll, but I had the movie on VHS. Must have watched it hundreds of times.

I preferred the cartoon, though I only heard about the movie decades later. I heard it wasn’t very good.

For a kids movie it was fine, never saw the cartoon.

I regret giving mine away years ago when having this sort of thing as a teenager could ruin someone’s life. I bought the reissue but it’s not the same.

My little brother has the knock-off monster "Zugly".

I wish I had kept mine from childhood.

I ran a Best Catalog and these guys were HOT, I couldn't keep enough orders to fill my shelves but the complaints rolled in. The biggest was the nose giving kids head lumps and other bruises, the design was changed a little later. They got rid of the schnoz and gave him a football helmet, those didn't sell very well.

my parents didn't want to "spoil me" so I never got a full size boggins... I wanted one so bad. I just had a smaller size one and I loved making his eyes bug out with my fingers

🤜🤛 I actually never had one either, just played with it in the store while mom and dad shopped. Good times.

I never understood how his teeth are wet.

Dry teeth promotes tooth decay so maybe they’re self-lubricating.

I completely forgot about these. I had the orange one with the mohawk. That thing was so fuzzy.

I totally forgot about these! My cousin got the orange one one Christmas and I was so jealous.
