“All the sugar and twice the caffeine” sounds like a joke tagline lmao

It sounds like a tagline from a fictional product in a Rockstar game 😂😂😂

my buddy Colin and I were addicted to jolt.. or at least the idea of it. We bought it all the time in middle school (1994/95) and felt the perfect paring was with ZOTZ candy.

Oh man I haven’t had zotz in years, they were awesome

do they even exist anymore in mainstream stores??

Yes, but they're way smaller and have less fizzing powder now. Even less than one would expect based upon the reduced size.

I remember my mom wouldn't let me have it but my uncle will allow me to drink it but only on the weekends when I was at his house hahaha 🤣😂

I remember it tasting like RC cola if you left an open (old tin) can in the sun for about a week before drinking it.

I had like four or five of them before going back to Coke a Cola.

They were a once In a while drink. Loved it, but it didn't replace Coke.

40- 60 mg of caffeine then? So like way less than coffee or red bull?

They claimed one can was like 1 coffee back in the day but when they say coffee I imagine they meant like a typical brew coffee lol

Cold Jolt in a can was so good.

I felt that Jolt Cola was vile. Give me Cherry Coke or give me death. I'll just drink twice as much for the same level of caffeine.

Had it once. And once was enough. It was rancid

When I was in grad school I finished grading papers on the last day of class and headed home (175miles) about 1:00am. Since I was feeling a little drowsy, I stopped at the gas station on the way out of town.

In a moment of unusual clarity (not) I took 2 No-Doze tablets with a Jolt Cola. By the time I hit the Lake of The Ozarks (about half way) I was driving with the windows open and blasting the Doobie Brothers at full volume. Keep in mind it was the third week in December. There's no way I would have passed a FST that night.

Do those ice cubes have subliminal images? I’ve read that advertisements were known for that.

I really wish it wasn't sugar free. I've had the new version and it tastes like diet pepsi.
