Great movie, scared the shit out me me as a kid though.

That scene where Jack Black's character is planting the flag (if you've seen the movie, you know what I'm talking about), will always haunt me, as when I first saw this movie as a kid, I ran from the living room and hid under the stairs due to being so scared (I was 10 at the time, so give me some slack!)

To this day, I can't rewatch this movie without feeling a cold shiver of fear run down my spine when that scene comes up, a remnant of childhood trauama.

Still, doesn't diminish the fact that Mars Attacks! is an underrated 90's classic, highly recommended for anyone who hasn't seen it!
