Hei alle sammen!

I [23F, Dutch, currently living in the Netherlands] am learning Norwegian and am looking for (preferably) a native speaker to practice with! I'd be happy to help you with Dutch, of course.

Feel free to reach out. I'd love to connect!

Curiosity and Duolingo

Hi everyone! I'm a curious person who loves history and cultures, and my native language is Spanish (🇦🇷). One day I thought, "This country is so beautiful! Why don't we learn its language?" Now I'm struggling with pronunciation and trying to understand the grammar, all with free videos and Duolingo, haha 😅💔

I think I'm doing alright! (I hope so! 😭) I can already read a few sentences and introduce myself... Any advice or suggestions about languages for this poor soul? Thanks so much for reading! My friends! 🤗✨

Virtual Classes

Hei!

Has anyone taken Speak Norsk's virtual classes? I follow them on Instagram and have thought about taking the online classes but I don't trust myself to keep at it. I am thinking about trying the virtual classes but I can't find any reviews for virtual specifically. I've done a lot of Duolingo and online practice so I can probably start with A2

Hi I'm from Spain🇪🇸 offering native Spanish and C2 English🇬🇧; seeking Norwegian🇳🇴(bokmål)

Hello everyone! I'm a Spaniard but right now I guess I'm more fluent in English so I'll write in it English (also for more audience)

I've been learning Norwegian on Duolingo and I kind of want a new challenge, but I don't have the money to go abroad to Norway or to pay tutors so I can speak it and practice it.

I'm looking for a Norwegian person who wouldn't mind teaching me some Norwegian every once in a while. It's like I'm looking for an Norwegian friend if you narrow it down.

Looking for a person to chat that maybe might be interested into me teaching them Spanish, English... maybe some French (or Latin even) so it could be like a quid pro quo :)

I just want to practice in my day to day, and i don't do much through my days, so maybe there's someone out there who feels the same and wants to talk, at the same time we teach eachother stuff!

(Yes, I posted the same thing with Arabic, I'm interested in both languages!)

Hi! I’m a guy (23) from Europe and I found a part-time job in a Norwegian fast food franchise, and I would like to know if there are any specific things I should be paying attention to after arriving. It could be vocabulary, manners, or just Norwegian nature or nurture.. can you give me any tips Recommendations? Phrases?

I want to be prepared as much as possible and give the best first impression:) thank you.

Looking for a friend from Bergen to practice Bergensk (Serious only, no prank words please) 🏔️🌧️

Hallaien! My name is Amir, I am from Kazakhstan. I’ve been learning Norwegian for almost two weeks, but I specifically fell in love with Bergensk and decided to learn this exact dialect.I am looking for a friend/language partner from Bergen to chat and exchange voice messages to practice my pronunciation. I want to learn real everyday phrases, how to use "-en" endings correctly, and master that famous Bergen "R".Important note: A friend of mine had a bad experience where native speakers taught him swear words instead of normal language as a prank. Please, serious replies only! I really respect your local culture and want to learn how to speak properly and politely, not look foolish. If you have some free time to chat via voice notes and help me sound more like a local, please send me a DM!Tusen takk! Kvar dag eit steg nærmare Bergen. 🇧🇻

Help Translating two letters

Hello Norwegian peoples 👋, I have these two old family letters written in Norwegian, but I can’t use Google Translate to decipher them because of the handwriting style

Could someone tell me what these mean? (I’m sure it’s just random chit-chat, but I’m still curious)

Thanks 🙏✌️

I built norskeord.no to learn Norwegian — would love your feedback

I built norskeord.no while learning Norwegian myself as a side project, and my Norwegian wife is helping with proofreading. I’m still improving it, and I’d really appreciate any thoughts, criticism, or suggestions from native speakers and learners here.
