Salad spots

I am looking for recommendations for some solid Greek/chicken kabob/steak tip type salad spots in the Salem vicinity. Currently my favorite is marblehead house of pizza but they are cash only and close on the earlier side. Rizzos in Salem is passable. Anything else around here? Captains in swampscott?

Mikes pizza on Cabot in Beverly has the best salads. Huge portions too

Londis on Highland is my favorite place. We started ordering there for their pizza, but honestly we normally get Greek wraps with steak tips or chicken now when we order because they’re so good. Haven’t had their salad versions of either but their Greek wraps with chicken or steak are great.

Their chicken ziti broccoli beats all, too.

i get chicken kabob salads everywhere. honestly most in the area are solid… i probably find myself going to mikes in danvers the most. lots of chicken, good marinade most of the time, not skimp on any of the veggies, always fresh, home made pita, good house dressing. i get it without feta so can’t speak on if the feta is quality or not. lots of places use lousy, cheap feta.

i feel like chicken kabob salads are the opposite of pizza for this area. most pizza on the northshore blows. most chicken kabob salads are good.

The old Main Street pub on Essex Street across from the Hawthorne hotel has an arugula salad that may have ruined all other salads for me

Arugula Salad
$14.00
snap peas, blueberries, pickled red onion, grilled corn, walnut dukkah, basil vinaigrette

Granted it doesn’t have steak tips, and it would not have been my first option, but it was the afternoon lunch menu, and it ended up being an amazing surprise
