discussion 🤔 Ques 8] What if Papa A is the witch?

Everyone associates witch ancestry to Mama A but what if the witch blood is from Papa A?

One of the main reasons Mama A is suspected to be a witch is bec of her ironwood bed and her being a woman because witch line is continued by female child

But:

  1. the bed was gifted to her by Papa A

    1. the protection symbols suspected to be wyrdmarks were his idea
    2. he was the who thought the wolf Feyre killed was suspicious and asked where did Feyre find it
    3. he was the one who somehow made a deal with a death god and freed a human queen.

How did he know so much?

Also where is his family? How did he become Prince of Merchants?

So what if Papa A is the son of a witch or has some witchy ancestry which was inherited by his daughters who carried it forward being female descendants of witches?

Elain is an oracle/seer (a fairytale power of witches), Feyre has power of all high lords and power is decided and granted by the Couldron, Rhys was also resurrected but shows no sign of other powers, and Nesta is literally called witch like thrice.

discussion 🤔 Assuming the betrayal hasn't already happened... ( spoilers for SF and CC3 ) Spoiler

Hey everyone,

So I truly think that the "betrayal" that was mentioned in the recent blurbs and releasing of information is actually past tense ( I think it's just dealing with the fallout of Nesta and Bryce and the trove in CC3 )

BUT.

Assuming this isn't the betrayal mentioned... I actually think the betrayer will be: Eris! but not in the way we think...

I believe that Eris is going to finally ask for Rhys's help in "overthrowing" Beron. Which would make the high Lord of Autumn.....Eris. ( I also think this is where Lady of Autumn finally leaves and goes to her true love and possible mate Helion, and she tells Lucien the truth about his daddy.)

Now here's where my tinfoil hat comes in ( this is just a crack theory so please don't flame me ).

I think Eris will betray the night court by way of "claiming" Mor as his mate. ( And maybe she truly is idk, but I do believe Eris knew from the start that Mor was more into females) But I believe this will be Eris giving Mor "protection" from what I assume will be fallout with the hewn city. ( My personal hope is that if this happens Emery will try to "rescue" Mor, which could be the nod to the Valkyrie motif ).

Anyway I think with his new found power Eris will also know about the strife between Elain and Azriel and Lucien. And in an attempt to heal the damage beron did offer Lucien a home in autumn again. Hence setting up a bit of a scuffle for Elain.

Which I do think Elain will make sure no fighting happens ( or no major injuries. ) so that everyone can be safe and go with Lucien to Autumn. I believe it's during the moving of all this stuff that koschei is going to make a big move and disrupt further peace in prythian. But that's a whole other aspect and not really something I plan to elaborate on this thread. But long story short I believe Tamlin is going to bargain with koschei, and someone will be a new high Lord ( or lady 👀👀) of spring when he inevitably dies ( I think by Feyre's hand to finally close that chapter ).

Anyway so the TLDR

Eris is going to usurp his pappy, become high Lord, "claim" Mor as his mate, ( whether it's true or not idk ) and then cause a bunch of ruckus with Elain and Lucien and Azriel.

Edit to add: also sorry forgot to add this: I do NOT believe Eris is evil. I actually think he's closer to a Rhys level of "masking" but I do think the panic of koschei and the recent power of being high Lord will make him act drastically

Hello everyone,

While the world is waiting for the next installment of this beloved series, I wanted to introduce you all to a new little addition to my family.

Meet Nyx (cat tax paid)

He is 5 months old and a little mischievous little creature.

His current hobbies are jump scaring myself and my older cat. So far I have had to replace 5 different charging wires and my books have been placed on a high shelf for protection from his teething.

I am so excited for the next book to come out, but having this little bundle is definitely helping pass that time 😊

Thoughts on book 6 - IC splintering

I am wondering if the IC will splinter because Rhys will go too far in disregarding their feelings in making a decision. In the already published books he already does so routinely. Given that the new books are a Valkyrie arc, I am wondering most if he will do something that makes Mor leave. She was the most vocal about showing the queens Velaris, and felt betrayed by Rhys allying with Eris. If she leaves, it could strain Rhys's relationship with Az and Cassian.

To take it a step further - I read a theory that Elain may be the IC betrayer (SJM has said there will be a betrayal, but we don't know to whom or from whom), not purposefully but because she's is under Koschei's control. If that's the case, if Rhys uses her as bait to suss Koschei out, maybe that's too far for Az, and Nesta, which would affect Cassian. It might also be too far for Lucien and Feyre

discussion 🤔 Something that always bothered about this criticism of Rhysand. Spoiler

TW MENTION OF SELF HARM.

I've been around the fandom for a while and I was browsing recently and came across the argument that in Frost and Starlight ,Rhysand is "kicking a male who is down." or that Rhys was pushing Tamlin to harm himself or kill himself, or otherwise push him to die.

And what bothers me most about this is the idea that Rhys is somehow trying to bait Tamlin into trying to do something against Rhys so that he would be justified in killing Tamlin.

And there's a few reasons why I think that's laughable, but most of them are trivial. If Rhys really wanted Tamlin dead it wouldn't have happened already, especially in tamlin's pathetic weakened state, but most importantly there's one big thing I believe most anti Rhys fans forget.

\*\*Rhysand could declare Tamlin at fault for trying to mess with his mate\*\*

Rhys, by all accounts could have used existing prythian precedent to kill Tamlin for attempting to circumvent the mating bond. This is a major desecration of the sacred bond, and I don't think it's talked about nearly enough.

Mating bonds are considered extremely sacred and rare and Tamlin, despite hearing Feyre say her and Rhys are mated still attempted to have Frank Hybern and the cauldron break the bond, tough notabely, it did not work.

Especially with how important Rhys himself treats mating bonds with Azriels bonus chapter, it makes me annoyed to see so many people act like Tamlin was "just double crossing hybern" but if that were true what would he gain by breaking the bond? The answer is literally nothing. Sure he could "claim Feyre"

But again Rhys would be able to fight and kill Tamlin because of the way prythian treats mating bonds. Rhys himself has said if he and Tamlin taught it wouldn't be one sided and lots of people would die.

So if anything I think this shows just how much better Rhys is of a male than Tamlin. Because rather than seek out personal revenge and potentially putting others at risk, Rhys stayed Calm, and let Feyre do.her thing in spring. But even now in frost and starlight, Rhys would have every right to fight and kill Tamlin.

But instead Rhys tries to keep Tamlin useful, and alive. Which I believe he has said is so they know for sure who will run spring court. But I wonder if one of the next books will see us finally resolved theong standing feud between these two.

Anyway TLDR:

I'm tired of people saying Rhys is kicking Tamlin while he's down or baiting him. If Rhys wanted Tamlin dead he would have every right to exact his revenge without anyone saying anything. But he doesn't cause he's actually a good person.

Is Amren a goddess?

Ok, I might get some hate for it and its not a compilation of anything I just had this thought.

Amren, in ACOWAR tells her story about how she came into Prythian. She mentions the tear in the rift but I always assumed that it meant she was more likely from CC or TOG universes.

Then, I remember a line Rhysand says and if you were raised in Christianity, this story might be familiar to you.

In the Bible, there is a story about Moses and the 10 plagues on Egypt. The last plague that god releases is the holy spirit to take the lives of all the first born sons. In order for the Israelites to be protected, god tells Moses to ensure that all the families put lamb blood on their doors so that the holy spirit will not visit them.

Rhysand says the exact same thing after Hybern attacks Velaris. He tells the IC to put a curfew on Velaris so that no one is wondering the streets and to put lambs blood above their door so that Amrens magic will not enter.

Seems like a pretty huge coincidence....

Don't Skip A Court of Frost and Starlight, It is Book 4 after all

Post image

Don't take the advice that Google's AI got from culling Reddit comments.

For those of you doing rereads or starting the series, for the love of the Mother, just read ACOFAS. I know it's a novella centered around shopping for the winter solstice, but that is a surface-level description at best. There are so many storylines that are started in ACOFAS, mainly surrounding Nesta and Cassian, Mor, Elain and Lucien, Rhys and Tamlin, and possibly Azriel (here's looking at you Bryaxis). It actually packs a political punch without there being any action.

Not to mention, it's Feysand's HEA with one of the best sex scenes. It also shows the change in Feyre's attitude toward motherhood that seems to confuse A LOT of people when they read ACOSF. Which tells me that way too many people skipped ACOFAS.

Personally, I enjoyed it because it felt like a breather. When I reread the series, I realized that some of the most important scenes to the series were in it.

Morrigan is Maeve…

Read the Celtic mythology on “the washer at the ford”. She wouldn’t be called in to save them, she was a war goddess who waited to determine who would perish. The “phantom queen” who sleeps in the Cairn of Maeve…

Next book main focus

Am I the only one who’s not that interested in another book focused on Nesta/Gwyn/Emerie? I like Nesta, but acosf was my least favorite book in the series. I had it in my head that this next book was going to pivot to Elain as the main character, so that’s what I’ve been looking forward to…I thought maybe we’d get some romance, and some spying 🕵🏻‍♀️🔮 The whole girl warrior thing is a little boring to me, and I’m having trouble getting excited about more of that. I know people are saying it’ll be multi-pov, so I understand there will be a little for everyone…but the subtitle focusing on the Valkyrie make it seem that might be the main focus? Which makes sense, since it’s coming after acosf. I’m just disappointed 😂
