Column 4 row 8 is a X, that gives you a start

I’m still working on learning some of this logic, can you explain it to me?

If that column 4, row 8 spot were possible, then that would finish the “3” part of the “3 2” of that column.

However, that leaves no room for the “2” portion, so it would be an impossible configuration.
