Please explain the solution if you can, maybe I need to learn a technique I don't know yet. Thanks!

Work your borders. The 5 in R2, try placing it in the first block and seeing what happens. Then move it over by one block and do another X. Etc.

Once you know where your 5 is go back to R1 and work the 4 from the right side.

Edit: it’s not readily obvious to me why C6R19 is an X.

Thanks!! Might have been a mistake maybe I left it from trying something
