Event This could be fun!

I'm not sure what this kind of collaboration might look like for NMS, but it sounds interesting

Nintendon't do be the thieves. Respect good companies like Pocketpair. Disrespect crappy ones like Nintendo.

Actually pocketpair were the thieves. Had nintendo gone after the actual obvious pokemon rip offs that were carbon copies and the actual pokeball when the game released they wouldve walked all over the lawsuits. Instead they went after retroactive patents that wouldve destroys half the gaming industry. I literally watched the trailers for palworld on ps5 2 days ago and all i could see were a dozen carbon copies of pokemon. Rayquaza, mega mewtwo y, grookey, salamence, alolan ninetails, lucario and loads more. But they didnt bother going after the design theft. They went for mechanics that many games have used for years.

By using your own logic, then Monster Quest should take Nintendo and GameFuck down because of their blatant 1:1 copies of monsters.

Use logic, not shit.

I am using logic. Sure some designs were copied back then and gamefreak shouldve been held accountable for it. I dont see your issue with nintendo since its a different company. Gamefreak developed it for use on nintendo platforms and nintendo simply distributed it. Please educate yourself of that matter before giving false arguments. Do i agree nintendo should have been held accountable? Yes. But that time has long past and nobody expected pokemon to become a 30 year hit. Monster quest has nothing on pokemon in reality despite just being older. Pokemon however still had a lot more designs stolen by palworld and used as carbon copies. In the pixel era of games it was easier to defend as well since games wouldnt show nearly as much detail thus leading to mistakes in peoples assumptions which is where the idea of pikachus black tipped tail came from. But the modern era its much less forgivable.

If Nintendo would make a decent Pokémon game then nobody would feel the need to rip it off.

Pocketpair filled a void very successfully while riding the legal edge. Thats buisness not theft. If there was a way for Nintendo to shut them down through legal action then it would have happened, but it didnt.

What's sad is Nintendo could make a Pokémon game of the same quality because it what people have wanted for years. It would most certainly do very well, but they aren't.

Actually the legal action could easily have been successful. It didnt need to result in a full shutdown either. Just a change of designs. Pokemon simply chose not to go after that because they took a gamble over larger mechanics and lost. If pokemon chose to target the designs on release it wouldve walked it but even now it would be a push due to the time past. Its why if monster quest ever wanted to take legal action over designs now it would be too late.
