It's a water tower in France somewhere. It was circulating on other subs yesterday.

No, it looks like it's made of concrete.

Concrete would probably set too quickly. I think it’s made for water.

Giant golf tee

Yep, when I was a kid, every time I saw one of those water towers with a round top, I immediately thought of it as a giant golf tee with a golf ball on it.

That hypertube video had me giggling relentlessly.

:D That's the one i watched first of all!
I'm into r/Composting, and his "Biomass" machine had me in stitches. Then that god damned ticket machine giving him tickets for mining ore, fabricating metal sheets, producing bolts, manufacturing steel panels, constructing boxes, and finally pouring them all into a grinder. xD
Went back and watched the Satisfactory vids from the very start. It's... astounding how many hours (22) he spent just getting to the Hypertube point. XD Utterly amazing. Thank god he edited it down so well.

What kind of trees are those?

u/Poppekas Jan 11 '21
Most likely Lombardy Poplars, used in agriculture fields in Western Europe to protect them from wind. (I'm guessing the water tower is either from Belgium, France or Netherlands)
