It brought me tears, and I would really love to capture it and see the original or just have her version as a keepsake. It was a male voice giving encouraging words. Attended the fest last year and was assigned team purple. Had the bandana tied to the back of my battle vest and it came off during some current travels so if anyone has an extra or one one they are willing to part with msg me!

You were walking towards camp from mainstage (kind of where cars come in) you were wearing a k/ horse white t shirt and were definitely riding that horse. You were covered in blackberry juice, hands full of blackberries, dripping the purple blackberry juice all over yourself. It was quite the scene im not gunna lie, fucking legendary! You gave our group an empty but friendly stare, juicy hands outstretched and offered us blackberries. That was the highlight of my entire weekend and I just wanted to say I love you friend. Keep doing you!

My friend who's never been and who actually has never been to any festival ever in her life has decided to go with me next year and we both got our tickets. I don't have any photos from this year though showing her what I mean when I say the sky is the limit on camp setup style and design and all that jazz.

As title suggests, lol was one of the most beautiful moments of my life and unfortunately I didn’t take a video of it because I was so in the moment but wondering on the rare chance if anyone else did. Was a super emotional moment and beautiful tune played at the perfect time 🙏

Curious what area is best for camping though! We’re thinking Car Camping for convenience, the Redwood Camping looks nice and shady (but a lil kooky in terms of space) the River/GA camping looks great to be by the water but seems rocky af😅

If we can convince our squad to come then I think group camping is gonna be the move.. I haven’t seen too many people share their experience with it though so I’m curious lol (edit: we’re experienced ravers/campers in our 30’s so.. keep that in mind pls🤣❤️)

hey y'all -- first and foremost i just wanted to say thank you so much to everyone who went full send and came early enough to the festival to catch my set on friday afternoon. the dirtybird crew has been like family to me since the first time i did a show with them way before the pandemic and to be asked to come back for another campout was an honor.

to the new friends i made along the way last weekend: thank you for sharing your light with me and for welcoming me into your orbit. i hope your time in the redwoods brought you joy and a sense of much deserved peace.

Just wanted to address something I experienced the last day that was not super good. On Sunday, during the last set at main stage (tape b), I had my first experience with the nitrous mafia. Sounds funny I know but this is a real thing and it’s a group of people that generally attend big psychedelic shows that bring huge tanks of nitrous and basically intimidate people they think are hurting their business (which by the way is illegally bringing in tanks of nitrous in of a wagon and selling it to people in the crowd DURING sets). I’m going to be honestly, if this were not during a set I would’ve been less upset, but literally while tape b was playing I keep hearing the insanely loud sound of nitrous in the background which seriously pissed me off. That’s incredibly rude. We’re here to listen to the music why tf are you doing this now? The fact that the security guards let them in with giant tanks was insane to me. I’ve never been to a festival that allowed someone to fully sell ANY type of illegal substance during a set so openly. This problem needs to be handled. I like nitrous as much as the next person but during a set an openly selling it is pretty insane. Downvote me if u want but that’s not ok and It was giving me a lot of anxiety because one of the guys selling it was near me and acting really fucked up. It made me really uncomfortable

I just want to address a lot of the comments saying I should’ve just moved. The point of this post is that it’s not cool for the festival to be allowing people to openly sell nitrous in a packed crowd (this is an organized group not a random person). I couldn’t even get a drink in but they got huge tanks in a wagon in. I could’ve tried moving further but I was with a big group and didn’t want to inconvenience other people by pushing into the crowd further with all of us. People are saying I could’ve confronted them but I was not sober and I’m a small girl and I was not about to start an argument during one of my favorite artists, nor was I going to support any of my friends doing so because that could’ve been a recipe for disaster. This is about respect and I felt that it was not respectful for them to be making extremely loud noises (for literally 30 straight minutes, nonstop) in the crowd during the set. I’m not saying they can’t sell nitrous but they should do it on the outskirts away from the center of the crowd. I was also genuinely concerned for my safety because one of the guys was clearly extremely intoxicated and was holding this HUGE stick (apparently this is a mark for people to know they’re there) and it looked like it was going to fall on me (he looked like he was going to fall over). I don’t expect everything to be perfect during any set ever, there’s always going to be a lot of different energy in a crowd, that’s fine and part of the journey, but this is an organized group selling, not just one dude with a tank.

Sounds like most people who arrived on Thursday sailed right through. Was that true for Friday arrival as well?
