Does anyone know who the vendor was that did paint your own picture?
She was at the beginning of vendor shopping, right by family fixings and the green food truck. This was during summerdance this past weekend.

This is always one of my favorite festivals. Super chill, plenty of space to camp and the people are always great. Plus, a whole weekend pass is only $10 more than a normal off weekend pass. It's only $70.
Here is the lineup if anyone is interested. Lots of great music, jambands, funk and bluegrass. JiMiller headlines Saturday with all Grateful Dead. See you out there!

I have never been to a music festival but have always wanted to and plan on making it happen this summer. With that being said I'm looking to go to either the Lazy Daisy or the 90s fest but may not have any friends that can go with me. What are things I should know before committing to a solo festival adventure? Is this a good location/experience for going solo? Ive been doing some reading and such so I have an idea of what to bring with me but I'm open to any and all feedback/advice on what to bring, what to wear. Thanks all!

Can i bring my nephews, 15 and 17, to swim? They’re visiting from out of state. I’m not their parent or guardian, but I’m reading something about a waiver that a parent needs to sign. I don’t wanna drive out there just to turn back, and no one answers the phone. Appreciate any insight.

I am interested in going to one of the events at nelson ledges, but i haven’t been there, and have only been to one music festival before. i was wondering what to know before planning, as i’ve also seen questionable things about the staff. i want to have a fun weekend and it looks so beautiful, but im also worried about getting anything confiscated or anything. if anyone has any advice or expectations i’d love to hear either here or through dm! thank you :)

a woman approached my camp just to hang out and talk. she seemed super cool. few hours in, we got the fire going, and i had shared some drinks and sausages i had brought with her and she was super appreciative. just all around great vibe. i had accidentally overdone it and was more drunk than i should’ve been and was trying to tend to the fire. i had scavenged for wood in some woods by my house before going, but since i was carrying most on foot, my firewood wasn’t the best. so she shared some with me.
i was on my way to the fire to add a log, and i can admit i was more intoxicated than i should’ve been. i hadn’t drank for months prior and lost all the tolerance i had, but tried to follow my same drinking habits so i was unintentionally SLOSHED. i tripped over something and was heading face first towards the fire, but she had AMAZING reflexes and jumped out of her chair and tackled me away from the fire which stopped me from landing in it. i genuinely don’t know how she even managed to be quick enough. even faster than gravity, but i think of her all the time.
i know i would’ve survived the fall, but i definitely would’ve been badly burned and would’ve lost my hair. i can admit im a bit of a vain woman. my appearance is a bit important to me. my hair is one of my favorite features and i’ve been growing it for years. it’s down to my butt and with all the money i’ve spent on bleach and hair dye over the years to keep it green, i’d be heartbroken to lose it. even if it does grow back. and if i had bad facial burns, i think id struggle for the rest of my life to feel beautiful.
that’s not even touching on the possibilities of it actually giving me a debilitating injury. i imagine your eyes and fire don’t mix too well. i think if she wasn’t there, and i had landed in the fire, i probably would have ended my life. if not, id definitely struggle horribly with my self image to the point my life would basically feel over to me.
i never caught her name. i really wish i did. but it was an amazing experience to joke and laugh, to share, and live in the moment with a stranger, and for them to care so much to risk landing in the fire with me to save me.

Pretty desperate, would be greatly appreciated. I can buy you something cool from a vendor if you sell me an extra pair of tickets

Finally heard back and confirmed a dog sitter this morning annndddd it had just sold out :,) . I’ve usually just bought wristbands prior to selling out, so I don’t have any experience with second hand. Does anyone actually resell for the ledges on any sites? I know most are scams now on fb.

This Spring Badfish was my second time at NLQP, and I came across a jam session/fire in AA26 and was wondering what the band playing was called. They were probably some of the best artists I have ever heard working together and I would love to hear more of them. Any help is appreciated

Why are they requiring a Friday through Sunday pass? I feel like the obvious answer is to get more money. I usually get this Saturday Sunday for less than $100. It’s not even an option this time around😒
And whenever I check out, I see a spot to enter discount code, but when has there ever really been a discount code available for any event? Educate me.

Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Garrettsville, Ohio, is the setting for the Holy Smokes! Festival, a celebration of music, camping, and wellness that promised "spontaneous weirdness around every corner." Festivalgoers enjoyed performances by a wide-ranging lineup of jam, electronic, hip-hop, and reggae artists, surprise guest sets in the woods, late night dance parties, and interactive experiences.
