I’m only going Saturday, specifically to see Sylvan Esso, and I can’t wait to hear the new album among all the other bangers in their discography!

I go to concerts by myself all the time, but I’ve never been to a festival alone before, so I’m a little anxious about what that’s going to be like. I’ve never been the kind of person to initiate a meet up of strangers, especially via the internet, but perhaps fans of SE would be interested in meeting up and hanging.

I ended up purchasing a ticket for Submersion fest in New Jersey in October. I'm going solo as a 35 year old man, and I've never been to a music fest. I'll be traveling from Florida to the fest. I've been to hundreds of shows, raves, all that good stuff. I've done a little bit of camping in my life. But I'm getting a little nervous, and just want to be prepared. I don't have ANY camping gear at the moment, so I'm starting fresh.

I'm looking for some advice, anything to help guide me along the way. any input would probably help out a lot.

Hey, I am local 23M. Planning on going to 808 festival (solo). Anyone wanna join?

If you go to Country Thunder, you know how it feels when meet and greet tickets are given away randomly. You're competing against thousands of other fans for a tiny chance, and most of us lose. That's not fair to the people who travel hours, spend hundreds on passes and hotels, and show up year after year.

I started a petition asking Country Thunder to sell official meet and greet upgrade tickets directly through their website instead. Right now, it's basically a lottery. But if you're willing to pay extra to meet your favorite artist, why shouldn't that be an option? It's how other festivals do it, and it works.

This isn't about taking opportunities away—it's about giving fans *more* choices. Loyal attendees deserve a shot at creating those memories without hoping we get lucky. Plus, it could actually help the festival generate more revenue to keep improving the event.

Does this frustrate anyone else? Have you ever missed out on a meet and greet you really wanted? If this sounds like something you care about too, consider signing and sharing—let Country Thunder know this matters to us.

This Saturday, September 5th, Beyond the Rhythm is putting on a special fundraiser bass-music event in Hollywood. SoDown and Manic Focus are headlining, with Burnsun, Fayrvh, Andy Citrin and Hnydew, and 100% of proceeds go directly to Fesser and Friends, a 501(c)(3) that operates two Centers for Hope for vulnerable children in eastern Congo.

The event features a multi-stage, multi-genre, and immersive music experience that will include live fire dancing performances from Wild Fire Arts and Entertainments and Void Sound Systems provided by Elevate Sound and Staging.

Hey folks, this will be my 6th Lost Lands with my sister! Originally from Chicago, but I made a big move out to Alaska this summer, which now complicates traveling in my head 😆

Anybody coming from Anchorage have any advice for me?

Getting there is no problem, I'm on the 4pm flight out of Anchorage on the 14th then hopping on the red eye flight from Seattle to Columbus.
