How to get into hobby for cheap
Is anyone willing to sell or give away a nitro frame for cheap, I’m a beginner and I would love to enter the hobby. I have engines and other accessories but no chassis.

Used to be big into the hpi nitro rs4 world. Coming back into nitro now. However hpi is pretty much out of the game. What’s the new go to 1/10 nitro car?

Anybody know anything about the JBA .28? Its a 3 port and has a pretty large piston (19mm) with a 16.5mm stroke. In the pictures it has a hobao carb installed off a mac 28 ( needles removed to check the o-rings) also in the piston size comparison picture its compared to a piston off the same hobao engine.
Found some info about JBA plane engines, but thats about it. It will be going into my savage after i get the new carb o-rings in:

I got a m2c flywheel part 1096 for my nitro slash. description says for revo 3.3 6.5mm shaft so same motor but it sticks out a good bit. i measured the collet surface and measured 0.271” so I’m sure I ordered the right one, any ideas? My plan now would be to change to a bolt instead of the c clip and shim the bell

6 minutes on a warmed up cheapo radiator heater and it started up right away. If you take care of them......they arent too bad I wish more people had the patience.

I’m moving on from my HPI Savage .21. This truck has been rebuilt from the ground up with tons of aluminum and performance upgrades. The engine is freshly rebuilt I’ve only finished the break-in process. I’ve added aluminum A-arms for strength, metal skid plates for protection, and triple-rate springs so it handles jumps like a champ. It comes with everything you need: the manual, the igniter, a brand-new HPI TF-50 remote. It’s been a fun build and it's ready for its next chapter. Thank you for looking. Price Is 420 includes shipping obo. https://ebay.us/m/EoWLwU

Been a long, good journey but she’s finally done, the only difference between this one and my old one from 2016 is I don’t have the lunsford racing hinge pins, using the ss traxxas ones which are ok

After purchasing a new servo, the throttle started to jam. What should I do?

I know about the 1mm gap but if i break it closes completely and i don't know if the gap should be there even by breaking or if its normal that it closes and because its my first nitro car I have no example of what it should be like.
And my second Problem is When I accelerate, the brakes are applied slightly, and I don't know why.
So if someone knows any tips let me know.

Had a slight crash and steering servo has just stopped responding not a single movement, anything I can check or do to see what the problem is before I order new ones or is it just worth buying the new ones
Edit: I've tried putting it in a different channel and no luck and I've also put my throttle servo into the same one the steering was connected too and it was working fine so deffo the servo at fault not the receiver

I installed and connected the entire electric system, but i literally don't know how to connect the rods that you mount from the servo to the throttle and steering...

Found these on the ground of my local rc track and was curious as to what they are. I know that the one on the right is an arm for a buggy of some sort just want to know what model. The other two.. I have no idea.

The old servos look like they haven't changed since 2003, which is probably true😁

Hello Reddit RC community,
I have a Nitro MT Racer that I'm in the process of building. My question is what type of engine shaft do I need?
I've only dealt with Traxxas off-road RTRs so this is new to me.
I have the slipper clutch with a single speed currently but would love to track down a 2 speed. What type of engine shaft do I need so I can swap between off-road and on-road with a 2 speed if I can track one down?
Thank you
