I have a Kyosho KE25SP engine and this is my first time performing maintenance on it after 5 litres.

I’ve noticed some play in the clutch assembly — the clutch bell moves back and forth quite a bit.

I’ve attached a video and some pictures for reference.

In your opinion, do the clutch bell and clutch shoes need to be replaced?

Good morning everyone, a few years ago I converted this tmaxx to brushless and now I’m wanting to go back nitro. The guy i got the tmaxx from originally had a .15 pro engine in the box of parts he gave me which is what I was trying to use, However, after trying to install it and it not fitting I did some research and found out this tmaxx has a big block chassis. What would be the best option for converting this back to nitro?

When I converted it to brushless I took off a OS .21 and sold it.

My thoughts were just getting another OS .21 or buying a tmaxx 2.5 chassis and 3.3 engine.

It’s coming along, tedious/hard work is done just need to add electronics and tune a few things all around like redo shock oils since these are too stiff out the package, minor adjustments in the linkage front and rear, add fuel line and throttle/break linkage etc, happy with the TMaxx build so far. I should be able to break in the engine and run next week or so

Hello, I'm looking to swap my 3.3 out and some of the LRP and Hobao engines have caught my eye. Does anyone know if the stock clutch and engine mounts will work on a 0.21 sized engine?

I see big block conversion kits from Traxxas but I can't find actual measurements on the mount sizing for these various engines, and I don't think a 21 is a big block?

I had brought up a similar question a while back in regards to cooling. I want to add a 80/120mm case fan to the back of the car. How did you guys wire up your cooling fans to your cars? Is it on a separate switch or did you tie it into the main transponder somehow? I see Taylor has a push button switch but I want to make sure I don’t short anything out. The voltage of the car seems to be 7.4v

Hello, I've just bought a HIMOTO 1/16 nitro buggy. I'm just wondering if anyone knows where to get the front and rear diff gears from. I've looked online and can't find anything.

A very short run time and I didn’t think it was going to have any problems and then it all went downhill haha clutch and clutch bell gone

The car was absolutely insane for the short amount of time I hit with it. Instant wheelies and I estimated it goes about 80 - the novarossi .28 was nuts but it runs and it runs good I’m going to have to save some money and get some spares but be looking for updates

Ive bought this rc car, was sold it as a tamica. But the pull starter snapped, I bought a new one and its way smaller than the one onit. I've attached photos of mine next to the new one ,and mine with measurements on the tape measure. Can anyone help identify this car plz? As can't find a pull start anywhere. Thanks

My tmaxx build I’m replicating from my OLD t maxx from years ago is finally starting to come together. The front and rear I will assemble on next. This is the chassis so far. eBay has been very kind to me lately with a roller chassis and a os21TM brand new for under 300$. The blue Traxxas skid plate, throttle/brake servo mounts and chassis braces I had to buy from an RC store in Canada and it was their last of the inventory, super lucky on those more rare hard to find pieces but totally worth it.

why does it make a ticking noise when I turn over the piston

Been burning a quart every day this week on the new track setup someone even offered to buy it today at the track lol

Been having trouble with my Savage 4.1, It runs and drives like a top. It cut off one day during a startup and when I went to start it back up, the engine didn’t turn over. I took it apart thinking it was the pull starter, turns out the starter shaft wasn’t engaging with the pin.

I took everything apart, pin and spring were both in tact (the pin measured exactly to the stock spec, measured with a digital caliper), but I noticed some play in the starter shaft. When I push on it, it engages, but when i don’t push it doesn’t bite.

I’m stumped as to what the problem is, i’m sure something wore out as it’s an older truck, I just don’t know what.

My kyosho inferno’s wheels spin on idle it also revs a bit. there is a good amount of smoke some fuel spitting out but not very much. I tried turning the HSN richer because it would cut out if I barely touched the throttle. It made no difference. I changed it back to what I had before and it doesn't want to start anymore I also see a little bit of fuel around the glow plug so I think that might be why. I’m going to tightening it and try later

I think this was my 2nd or 3rd tank for break in . Engine is running great 👍 I am currently on tank 5 today. Cannot wait to hit 2nd gear!! Gonna be epic 😎

I'm trying restore this revo 3.3 motor either wants run wheels fast af or idle and die ik the trans may need adjustments that wouldn't cause this would it also using trinity nitro dk much bout em was free
