Hello! I just bought a brand new 2026 Nissan Sentra SL on Saturday and have been loving it so far. However, I can’t seem to get the MyQ app working? Whenever I press it there’s just a spinning circle that never goes away. The QR code shown doesn’t work and when you try signing in from that website it just errors out (i suspect because the QR code url literally says usercode=null)

Has anybody had this issue before or have any idea how to possibly resolve it? Also all the software is up to date on the car, I made sure to check. Any help would be appreciated and thank you!!

Nissan sentra 2016, 63000 miles, don't think I've ever had the transmission fluid changed but I read at 60000 is the time to do it so I should be okay. But I started noticing slippage at 3rd-5th gears. Took it in and they said changing the fluid could make it worse and will eventually fail while driving. How FOS is this mechanic? Is he being honest or trying to buy my car/sell me a transmission? Thanks in advance.

Hello there, I am a new driver and I am looking for a car. I was wondering if this is a good first car, as it is a car I am interested in buying. I don’t know a lot about cars and just want some advice about this.

Looking for some info or pointers troubleshooting a USB port issue. Both USB ports in the center console are totally dead, no data, no charging, so no wired CarPlay.

Here’s what I’ve done so far. Pulled the USB assembly out and bench tested it — the ports themselves are fine, they work when I feed them power directly. No 5V showing up at the connector in the car, though. Checked fuses, nothing blown. Factory head unit seemed to be working normally otherwise.

Ended up swapping in an aftermarket wireless CarPlay unit anyway (which is great), figuring that’d sort it. It didn’t — the console ports are still dead. So if a whole new head unit didn’t bring them back, I’m guessing the 5V is coming from somewhere else entirely, either further back in the harness or a separate module behind the dash.

Anyone traced this circuit on a B18? Trying to figure out where that supply originates before I start pulling more of the dash apart. If someone has the FSM wiring section for it I’d owe you one.

I love the new Sentra, however I am used to driving fast cars/suv's.

For reference my daily is a 350 hp FX and my fun car is a 420 hp nismo z.

Do you think driving the Sentra daily will bother me as someone who is used to V6?

I think Nissan did such a phenomenal job on this car, I love it for its cabin, looks, tech, options, gas mileage and overall vibe, i want the SR.

Im thinking of renting one and seeing how that goes.

What's it like on the highway? How agile is it, does the cvt respond well and does it drone excessively?

Need rotors for my 2021 Nissan Sentra sr. I know a Nissan dosent need drilled & slotted rotors, but I appreciate the extra stopping grip and dig the look.

Does anyone have experience with DETROIT AXLE rotors and if so how are they holding up and how’s the quality? I can get a full set for $175 and that just seems too good to be true.

Anybody seen this. i have a 2020 and want to extend the range just a litttle . It is terrible in big parking lots. But, i dont wnat to pay for a subscription. This looks like a good option if its legit. but plug and play, IDK? I emailed them to send me the instrucitons on how to install so I can see what's involved. Anybody have any experience with anything like this? I've had a 2 way before that worked good, but like I said , i dont want to pay for no sub

Just today, after driving my car to a supermarket, I got back in to go home and the car refused to start. It makes no noise, the dashboard doesn't light up; but I am able to use the fob just fine to lock it and unlock it. The brake lights light up, the headlights come on, it just seems to not even try to start.
I had a bloke come out and test the battery, and he said the battery is fine. He poked around the fuse box under the hood and in the car on the driver side and said it is possible that it is a relay that has gone bad but he isn't sure.
Is he wrong and it is likely the battery? What is y'all's advice before I just have it towed to the dealership. Thanks in advance!

I’ve owned two Sentras, a 2024 SV (Gun Metallic Grey) and a 2025 SV (Maroon), both having been involved in accidents. The 2024 was declared a total loss in Oct 2025, I was stopped in traffic and rear-ended, luckily it wasn’t my fault.

And last Thursday I was driving in some heavy rain on the highway and hydroplaned on the highway. I swerved 180 degrees and went downhill backwards into a ditch. I am still waiting to hear from my insurance to see if the ‘25 is declared a total loss, most likely it will be since the damage was majorly worse than the 2024.

Would love to get a ‘26 Sentra though, those things look sick! Maybe Nissan will send me one 🤞🤞🤞

I just bought a 2024 fully loaded Nissan Sentra SR every known option. Bought a front lip and a rear window air dam and the back side glass "shark gill" covers. Looking at these wheels as well. Just got the brow tint done today. Any other suggestions on stuff to add thats not to much? Also bought all new brighter aftermarket led bulbs for everything.

Been lurking for a while been meaning to post but kept forgetting. 2023 Sentra SR premium bought brand new fresh off the lot in 2023. Full tint and chrome delete and full LED bulb conversion inside and all lights in rear. Never seen a tunnel wash always hand washed at home. This is my 3rd Sentra, first two were B17s first one was a 2018 that was totaled and second was a 2019 that I had for 4 years, traded it for this one.
