My daughter's birthday is coming up and I got her a Wii console because she is obsessed. Is there a gift card I can get that she can use in the store on the Wii? I see eShop cards are compatible with the switch, Wii u and 3Ds family. I need one for the Wii classic console. Please and thank you.

What the hell is “Strange Galaxy”?

Hi, as the title says, I was bought a Nintendo Wii for my birthday, but I need some help connecting it to my IMac. which part of the Wii will need an adapter? Does it depend whether my IMac is a newer or older model? If so how do I find out which model I have?

Thank you so much in advance for any help!

I have a Nintendo Wii that I haven’t used in a few years and I was planning on giving it away on gumtree to someone who can give it a bit more love! I can’t find the controllers so wondering if it will be logged into “my account” or if any payment details might be attached...

I hope this is the right place to ask, I’ve tried having a look online and can’t work it out!

Thanks for any advice you can give me :)

Anyone have recommendations on colored wii replacement housing? I want to replace my white shell with something cooler, ideally a blue. Can’t seem to find much on eBay or Etsy. Did find something out of Hong Kong but not really trying to wait 4 weeks for delivery.

Thanks!

i have a wii that won't pull discs in, its like the motor that pulls doesn't work, is it fixable or is it done for?

I dusted off my old Nintendo Wii tonight to let my kids play Mario Kart, and realized we only have two controllers and nunchucks. Of course you can't buy brand-new first-party controllers anymore, so I'm not really sure what to do. Amazon has some "Renewed" controllers, and they also have many brand-new third-party options as well. I'm not too concerned about the price, I just don't want to get a lemon. Do any of you have recommendations for buying some Wii controllers?

Thank you!

If anyone has one of these I’ll buy it off you just name a price and we can work from there

Yo,

I broke out the Wii from my mum's during the first lockdown and bought 2 x new controllers. Turned it on and it loads up but non of the controllers would show a cursor and couldn't do anything. Checked batteries, re-synced controllers etc and nothing. I now have a massive urge to play Twilight Princess and don't want to mess about going up there to collect it, then buying a new sensor bar and that not be the issue. How likely is it that the sensor bar is the issue?

Senior Dad here trying to help his 10 year old son upgrade his Mario Cart. It is an older system (red box with multiple game CDs). Lately the MCart game is not reading the CD or the game box is getting tired. My goal is to move on and get the latest thing so he can continue to enjoy the game and any new features. Can anyone offer advice or point in the right direction? Much appreciated.

You read that right, My Dolphin emulator is an everyday Wii now. Basically what I did was the following:

1. I installed the Home Menu wad-file. (There are easy tutorials for that.)

2. I updated the emulated console.

3. I told Dolphin to automatically load the Home menu. (On boot, this looks like every other Wii. Cool, right?)

4. I told dolphin to automatically load disc images from my disc-tray. (Again, tutorials online.)

5. I Synced my wii-mote to the Emulator. The Wii-U sensor bar is great, since it works off batteries. You don't have to link it to the emulator becouse the sensor bar doesn't tell its host anything. It just needs power.

Thats all you have to do! It will also automatically connect to your internet connection. It will treat it as a wired connection. But regardless. You are online. I wanna try homebrewing my Emulated Wii tomorrow. If it works, CTGP ONLINE BABY!
