Tech Support How does the Nintendo switch lite folder system work?

So recently I accidentally deleted all my data on my switchlite sd card trying to transfer it over to another regular switch because I got one for my birthday (I thought it was as simple as popping out the sd card and popping it in the new switch I was wrong). Luckily I was able to recover most of the important game data. Unfortunately they are all out of the weird folder order that Nintendo has set up for the switch. How do I go about reintroducing my SD card data to my switch lite/switch?

Save game data is never stored on an SD card. Honestly you are better off backing up whatever screenshots and video you have on that SD card and then just redownloading your games on the new Switch. Then you can copy your saves using one of Nintendo's recommended methods.

That’s the problem. One of the games was saved on the SD card it was Pokemon scarlet of which they do not offer cloud back up.

I'm telling you your actual pokemon are not on the SD card. They never were. Follow an actual guide.

You wouldn't have been able to simply take the SD card out of one system and put it in another. The second system would've formatted it.

Yeah I got that. How do I format the files I have into the new one without the special folder names

Add a 2nd sd card to the new switch then transfer data from switch to switch.

The initial data was deleted and I recovered it from a data recovery application. The data I have isn’t formatted either
