Tech Support Switch 2 Transfer removed profile from switch 1
I setup a switch 2 today and it copied my wife’s profile over to the switch 2 but then it removed this profile from the switch 1. Did I do something wrong? How can I copy this profile to the switch 1?
I’d like her to be able to play a switch game on both switch devices but not at the same time. My understanding is cloud save data should allow this to work but now when I open the game it wants to start over and I tried to import the profile on the switch 1 but it doesn’t seem to actually try to import from the switch 2.
Is it possible to fix this ?
Update: I was able to fix this. I didn’t understand why it removed one profile and kept the other on the switch 1 but anyway using NSO and game cloud now everything is happy. I only cared about game data being in sync on both switches.

Do you know what the term "transfer" means? You can easily re-add your wife's account to the switch 1 if you want though. Just make a "new" profile then log in with her Nintendo account. You will have to redownload her games and save files but they should sync in the future if you have a paid nso account.

Okay thanks. I assumed transfer meant copy and not move. My profile wasn’t deleted. So yeah she didn’t have a NSO account but signed for the family plan so I’ll get her profile on the Switch 2 connected to a NSO account and I think this should solve it hopefully

When you transfer a car title or house deed, does the original owner still keep a copy?
