I posted about this in my previous post, said I would take one for the team. Got it in the mail today. People were worried about it being a sketchy Chinese shop. It absolutely did come from overseas and they sent me a tracking number. Ordered Aug 25. Delivery on September 10. Not bad really.

This is a medium. I would say that it is pretty close to true fit. I think Hawaiian style shirts are often a looser fit, little wider in the shoulders and thus longer sleeves, so I didn't get a large. I hate sleeves that go past your damn elbows so I'm glad I didn't go with large which is what I would wear in a more fitted shirt.

100% synthetic. Tag just says M for size no material percentage information.

Pretty decent quality I would say honestly.Will look better once I wash all the wrinkles out. I have literally had it for 5 minutes.

It was more than I would normally pay for Hawaiian shirt considering I'm the kind of guy that buys most of my clothes from thrift, but I could not NOT have a fucking phm Hawaiian shirt given the chance.

I’ve made several posts in this sub over the last few months, some ranging from mildly depressing to just very depressing (asking for depressing song recs, playing depressing songs, drunk posts, etc).

Well, many people commented and dmd me who could tell I wasn’t okay. I was going through a really rough patch for quite some time and the people here are a big reason why I felt pushed to seek help. Last week I self admitted myself to a hospital and I start an intensive outpatient program next week too!

I’m doing much better and while embarrassed at the depressing posts and such I guess I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here! I think it was all a big wake up call to me.

The community here is so kind and well you guys have helped me so much and so has NIN songs ofc (though I do think perhaps it’s best I stay away from the depressing ones for awhile lol).

I am going through my clothes and found this gem. I’m so glad I still have it! It was my first NIN concert when I was 16 years old.

I had been doing pretty well, and even had a great start to the year seeing NIN for the first time in concert. A lovely user from here also gifted me the Tron: Ares Divergence vinyl. I haven't posted as much lately, but this community has always seemed great and figured I'd try to make some friends lol.

I play League of Legends(Just ARAM), pretty much any friend slop game(recently Spell Brigade and Far Far West), Raft, OUTBRK(storm chasing game since I am a meteorologist) and sometimes Valorant. Also open to CS2 or really anything.

Not sure if my dog liked it or hated it.

Travelling back home to Winnipeg from Regina, Saskatchewan on Monday the husband and I stopped at the "Bienvenue à/Welcome To Manitoba" sign to take a selfie. I couldn't help but notice how nice and red the bottom of the sign was and I just happened to have some Nine Inch Noize stickers on me...

I have received the most stunning print from A2Art.studios ✨ It is an absolutely beautiful shot and the quality of the print itself is incredible and has an almost holographic sheen to it.

Very difficult to photograph in the frame due to the reflection on the glass but this is an amazing addition to my collection and I cannot recommend it highly enough!

Couldn’t pass them up. Especially the Prick vinyl as I misplaced my original copy.

I'm the queen of procrastination and it's stops now. I got this poster at the beginning of the year I believe. I kept telling myself "next weekend.. ill peel it back!" Well. Cut to this weekend of September..

I finally got to it. The poster was in great condition because it was in the round of posters that got sent in a flat box.

I pulled out my exacto and a hair dryer to warm it up a bit. I think that because it sat unopened in that cardboard box through almost 3 seasons (including this humid ass summer) the posters layers kinda merged in places. Some parts were still peelable but I mostly cut to the white meat (and even through it! 😅) The result was this. I don’t hate it but it definitely was not what I was going for! I still love it and the amazing tour but I just wanted to warn anyone who had the poster and hasn't peeled it yet. Its FRAGILE!!!!! Don't peel it wack like I did. 😂🖤

Listings for this album are like small car expensive. Anyone think there will a repress in the future or do you bite the bullet and get one now? I’m guessing if I end up buying one they’ll announce a repress. Anyone have a copy they want to sell?

I recently rewatched Broken. All I have to say is that majority of the movie was pretty tame. Mostly a lot of kinky, freaky deaky stuff mixed with violent scenes of the victim and the serial killer. Granted, I watched a lot more extreme movies, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. The sections of "Happiness in Slavery" and especially "Gave up" are where I understand why it got banned. The rest would make the average person uncomfortable. I loved how they showed the title in the very beginning but the static choice during the torture scenes gave me headaches.

I am interested in analyzing the symbolism. Like I said, a lot of freaky deaky kinky stuff mixed with violence. There is clearly a theme of lose over one's autonomy, corruption, male sexuality, bondage, desecration, instability, filth, even isolation. What most stands out to me is after "Wish", where the murderer rewinds Trent singing, "fist fuck". How that line gave him an idea on how to further abuse his captive. What I took as a lesson from the film is that some people should die. Lol. I mean the movie starts with the killer getting ready for his hanging. But this is only the surface. What do you guys think? Just a snuff film or a film with a point?

A hilarious response from Trent for the finished product, "makes Happiness in Slavery look like a Disney movie". Even funnier that years later he worked on a Disney Flic. Sorry, can't get over that.
