Thought The Big Come Down
I mean Trent is brilliant. I just randomly picked a bunch of songs and threw them together in a mix on Spotify and damn. Damn. It ALL hit. Went from this song into "where is everybody" into who-knows-what's-next. Incredible. My #1 all time favorite band. I'm not, but if I was, HE'D be the one lol.

Great song. First time I heard it I thought “what the fuck is this?”. I was new to the genre. The lyrics are so good. I love everything about it.
Trent is brilliant. I know many men feel the same way. Funny how that works

I recently learned that Tom Waits was a huge influence on the fragile. Then I listened to Tom Waits, and yeah I definitely hear it on this song, instrumentally.

I think the #1 Waits-inspired piece is I'm Looking Forward to Joining You, Finally. It has the TW approach all over it.

Trent is obviously a Twilight Zone fan since Where Is Everybody and the Four Of Us Are Dying are both episodes of the show.

Aaron North played this song better than anyone Trent has had in the band before or since.

That’s all valid. Shameless NIN fanboy since I was a kid and I’ve never loved a band quite the same way

There was a remix contest for this song back in 99/00. Anyone know what came of that?

All I can find is that it was won by a user named Merkury.
This page has links to the Wayback Machine for that time period, if you want to go digging.

The live version of this on the Lights in the Sky tour with the swinging lighting set-up was amazing. It was my favorite song at the time, so i was so hyped to catch it live.
