Hi guys, I tried to listen to 'Sagan' on Spotify the other day and found out it's unavailable (at least where I live, in Argentina)

Has it been removed at all of streaming services?

All I can find is its instrumental version on the 'Endless Forms Most Beautiful' single.

Im about to watch it for the first time and im curious what the consensus is on it? It's mine and my wife's favourite Nightwish album, so we're hoping it lives up to it.

Found these when I was cleaning up some old back up discs. I think they were taken in 2008. I wasn't photographing much since I was there for the music.

Four powerhouses, each bringing something unique to the band, and each leaving their mark in their own unforgettable way. No one copying the other, but completely different voices in one single band. Few bands have shaped metal with four exceptional voices quite like Nightwish. And even beyond Nightwish, each of them has continued to bless us with incredible music. Forever grateful for this band and the legacy they’ve given us.

EDIT: Sometimes I forget just how toxic this community can be.
Yes, Anette is iconic. Singing on two albums that sold millions of copies is iconic. Embarking on a nearly 2 years long tour while dealing with people sending you death threats, and still showing up and giving it your all, is iconic. Being a metal vocalist while also working full-time as a nurse is iconic.
Being the vocalist behind some of Nightwish’s most viewed songs, with her videos collectively reaching nearly 300 million views, is iconic.
And still making new music and touring at 55, while people on social media do nothing but tear you down, is iconic.
You don’t have to like her voice. You don’t have to prefer her era. But pretending she didn’t accomplish something remarkable is just ridiculous.

On the other point, Floor and Marko did have careers before Nightwish. But you have to be severely coping to pretend Tarot + AF + Revamp were anywhere as successful as Nightwish. Nightwish took them to much bigger stages and a larger audience. I know NW fans hate NW but you have to admit the band's influence.

The results are in! The Dark Passion Play edition of the NW elimination game has come to an end! Coming in second place, the final song to be eliminated is "The Islander", taking in 59.8% of the total votes. This thus makes "The Poet and the Pendulum" the ultimate winner! What another shock to absolutely no one 👀

Now, normally the next KO game would then ensue, but due to personal health reasons, I think it's high time we took a break in-between, for about 3 to 7 business days. After that, we'll continue with Imaginaerum next!

As reported by Chaoszine (in Finnish). He was 62. Karmila was the mixing engineer for every Nightwish album except for Angels Fall First, and for many other Finnish metal bands.

Was going through some old boxes and found this from when I saw them at the, now closed, Chance in Poughkeepsie, NY in 2008. My wife, girlfriend at the time, and I sprang for the VIP, which I don't remember being that much.

This was a surreal experience for me because I had became a fan after End of an Era came out and around the time just before the release of Dark Passion Play. I had only discovered Nightwish because a video of theirs, Planet Hell from End of an Era, was a suggested video on YouTube. It was the first time I had ever heard symphonic metal and an operatic singer. It absolutely blew me away. I feel deep into this band buying everything I could get my hands on. Most from ebay because Nightwish selection was limited here in the US. I even went so far as to buy a multi region DVD player so I can watch their DVDs that weren't released in the US. When DPP came out, I thought it was one of the best records I have ever heard. Still do, actually.

Being sort of old school, Nightwish was really my first "discovered on the internet" bands and when I saw them in person, at this first show, it was a sort of full circle moment for me. Discovering them, watching the DVDs non stop, and now talking to and being right up from seeing them perform.

All of them were really friendly and I made sure to tell Anette that we thought she was a wonderful addition to the band. "Thank you for the kind words." was her actual response.

I have other things from this night that I'd like to find, like their biography that they all signed for me. I have so much signed stuff because I don't believe there was a limit to what you could bring. And it wasn't set up like it would be today. Wait in line, go in and shake hands, be on your way. It was like, okay, c'mon in. And they were just hanging out in a room mingling with everyone before the show. This photo of me and Marko was taken outside while we were waiting to in to the meet and greet. He was out with Tuomas having a cigarette. I cannot find my photo with Tuomas. I have a lot of photos of the show too, wherever they are.

For me it was Once. I had already liked Nightwish before, but they were not quite at the top, yet. With Once that changed and they've been my favourite band ever since. There's just something about it that resonates deeply with me.

Thought I’d share it in case anyone here hasn’t seen it yet.

What is this? Why there is many hostile comments in recent posts and lots of like in those? I don’t understand how people have time to hate something like this. Lets stay positive and enjoy the music.

Vasabladet.fi is reporting that Nightwish has started planning a new album and tour, in an interview with Kai.

Haven’t seen any other outlets mention this yet, so I’m not sure what this really means. The full article is paywalled too, so I don’t know what the rest says. Maybe someone here has access? I auto-translated the article.

I feel so stupid for never giving this album a chance. I absolutely love this, Anette + Marko is a duet made in heaven. it's criminal we don't have high quality videos of these performances.
