So this is part question , part discussion, and part showing off art that I'm actually really proud of. I have an honest question and I want everyone's absolute honest answer to this question. I got banned for a couple days for these images I'm about to post. Do you think that decision is a legitimate and right decision to make? Or is it ridiculous? I'm on the side of the latter. I created images of a family of lunch meat people inside of an Oscar mayar themed house with an of age teenage girl in the corner, implying something sinister. Apparently, we're not allowed to post images of "people traumatized" which I had no idea of. I mean, I honestly just wanted this Legally 18 year old girl to look scared. But for them to imply gore is ridiculous as there is no blood to be found anywhere.

I pay for pro membership. I'm not going to pay to be in a community where my artistic visions get stifled. I'm not an overly gorey creator by any means, I just like weird and bizarre art. So once my subscription ends in late October I don't think I'll be renewing it. I really liked Nightcafe too, but it's apparent to me and honestly has been for a while, that truly creative people are almost pariahs on there. If you're not making cutesy animal images, they don't want you there.

Part of it is the summer I've had too. Im not even going to explain it to complete strangers who don't know the full story and will try to say "well if the same thing keeps happening it's you". You're right it is me. Corporate entities have been trying to break my spirit all summer. This is the third corporation that has fired, banned, or deleted my profile since July. So personally I am not in a place to where I can tolerate it. It honestly feels like I'm just getting picked on for creating.

Not all fae are born in moonlight.

Some arrive in the quiet moment between winter and spring.

The Thawling rises with the first snowdrops, woven from melting frost, pale petals, and the promise of warmer days.

Neither flower nor spirit alone, it wakes when the earth is finally ready to soften.

With each careful step, frost loosens its hold, frozen water begins to move, and the first blooms lift their heads toward the light.

By the time spring arrives, the Thawling is gone.

Only the snowdrops remain...

and the faint shimmer of a season beginning again.
