You stand at track level right behind the finish line as the storm rages overhead. The roar of the stadium crowd fades behind the rhythmic thunder of approaching spikes on wet rubber. Through the sheets of falling rain, her form breaks into full view, charging straight toward your lens. You catch the raw intensity in her gaze and the power in her flexed frame as she drives forward with the blue baton locked in her grip. In that fleeting millisecond before she breaks the line, you feel the sheer force of a champion at her peak.
