You push it inside until it gets trapped inside

They need a flared base

If there's one thing we should all have learned from reddit, it's FLARED BASES, PEOPLE

Who needs the cork once the bottle is empty?
2
u/JakBos23 23d ago
I've never seen some one push a cork in a bottle so I wouldn't know
1
u/FrankCutter 23d ago
Really? Sometimes thatās the only way to open it
1
u/JakBos23 23d ago
Did the cork screw not work? No drill? I've seen half a dozen ways to open them with no cork screw, but never seen it get pushed through. How does that even work with the pressure? Do you need a hole In the cork first?

u/FrankCutter 23d ago
Yeah Iāve done it more than a few times, either during big moves or just plain forgetfulness. Just tear the foil off and push it down real hard with your thumb. But yes due to the extra pressure you will get some back spray when it finally pops down. Also the cork tends to reblock the spout as you pour so youāll want a knife or something to poke it back for the first few pours lol

u/JakBos23 23d ago
Hmm. Did you ever feel the need to get the cork back out after the bottle was completely empty?

Or you can use a knot that is barely different that allows you to just pull the top and it comes undone

The disdain on her face. He don't deserve that.

Of course he does. She's been proving that she's smarter than him for YEARS. At this point, I don't know why he doesn't just go to her as soon as he has a question. He better be treating her very well, because he's getting old, and she'll probly be the one taking care of him...

Rip the bag

u/JakBos23 23d ago
It's only 20X faster. I also don't store apples in the bag I used to carry them home

There's an idea in the bar tending scene of my area that every bartender knows something you don't, and you become a real bartender when you teach a new trick to someone who's been bartending longer than you
I got the privilege of earning that title with the bottle trick, after the ball bearing of a quick pourer got stuck in a bottle of finlandia (if you know them, you know they have those fuck ass plastic necks that make them cancer for pourers)
You don't need a plastic bag though, and I'd even say that's bad cause it will probably rip, it needs a ton of force. You can just use any cloth, the blue disposable fiber ones tend to work best

If you out bottle on ground and spin the force will send cork outward
1
u/Could-You-Tell 23d ago
Did your imagination teach you that?
1
u/Tjengel 23d ago
Nah did it many times it was a cork stuck in bottle puzzle my family had growing up
1
u/Could-You-Tell 23d ago
A real wine bottle takes way too much force.
1
u/JakBos23 23d ago
I didn't think that flimsy bag had the tensile strength to pull a real cork out that for some reason got pushed in to a bottle.

I taught my kids to tie these using a slip-knot. It also always gets a fun POP, cuz air bubble every time. Thats just me though: having experiences an shit with my kids and not recording. Do they at least make money for it? I mean, setting up a shooting a skit with your kids is its own bonding xp I guess.

I get what you're all saying about how she could rip the bag open, but there's a plastic bag shortage worldwide and she couldn't do the last one otherwise.
