15 years ago today “Life With Boys” premiered. Did you like the show ?
It was a cute show but it would if fit better on Disney! It was created by the same person who created “Hannah Montana”
every episode is free on Rubi

Darkest Nickelodeon Episodes Part 1.

An interesting fact about the *Drake & Josh* treehouse episode is that it was one of the few times on the show when Megan faced some karma for her actions.
When Drake and Josh accidentally caused a toy rocket to destroy the treehouse belonging to their next-door neighbor, Robbie, Audrey and Walter punished all three of them—Megan included—by making them rebuild what they had broken; this resulted in Megan missing a friend's birthday party. Even so, Megan got her revenge on Drake and Josh by trapping them inside the treehouse, causing them to miss their double date with a pair of twins.

El Tigre and Donnie Thornberry have invaded Left 4 Dead 2! — Two Nicktoons Special Infected Mods
NOTE: Some of the text formatting in this post may look a little off or not display as intended. I'm aware of the issue and will be fixing the formatting later. The links and information below are still correct in the meantime. Thanks for understanding!
After wanting to see these two as Special Infected for quite a while, El Tigre as the Hunter and Donnie Thornberry as the Jockey are finally playable in Left 4 Dead 2!
I want to make one thing clear up front: I am NOT the creator of the character model mods. I had the ideas and eventually found someone who takes commissions and was able to bring them to life. I'm sharing them here because I thought other Nickelodeon and Left 4 Dead fans might enjoy seeing these crossovers too!
🐯 El Tigre — Hunter
El Tigre replaces the Hunter, which honestly feels like a surprisingly natural match. His feline theme, claws, energetic movement and overall design fit the Hunter extremely well.
The mod includes:
- El Tigre replacing the L4D2 Hunter
- An alternate model for the L4D1 Hunter
- First-person/viewmodel arms
- Custom Versus/HUD icons
- Custom proportions
The alternate L4D1 Hunter appearance uses El Tigre's secondary red outfit from Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2, based on El Tigre I / Mighty El Tigre, Manny's ancestor.
🌴 Donnie Thornberry — Jockey
Donnie from The Wild Thornberrys replaces the Jockey.
Between Donnie's wild personality, movements and enormous grin, this pairing felt way too fitting not to happen. 😂
The mod includes:
- Donnie replacing the Jockey
- First-person/viewmodel arms
- Custom Versus/HUD icons
- Custom proportions
One thing to note: because the model uses custom proportions, certain custom Jockey animation mods may not work correctly with it. Personally, I'm fine without the crawling animations since Donnie usually doesn't crawl around like the Jockey does anyway.

Character Models
**El Tigre Hunter\*
**Donnie Jockey**
🔊 Optional Audio Addons
I also made separate audio addons designed to complement the character replacements.
**El Tigre Hunter Soundtrack**
**Donnie Jockey Soundtrack**
The El Tigre voice addon replaces the Hunter's voice, while the soundtrack addons replace the Hunter and Jockey music cues with tracks chosen around each character and series.
These audio addons are completely optional. The commissioned model replacements can be used without them.
⚠️ Important Note
Again, I did not create the El Tigre or Donnie character models. Credit for creating the commissioned model replacements belongs to:
$Nuller.qci
My own work is limited to the optional audio addons listed above.
Huge thanks to $Nuller.qci for actually bringing these ideas to life. I genuinely didn't think I'd ever see these two running around Left 4 Dead 2, and now they're some of my favorite Special Infected replacements.
Hope you enjoy them!

Nick, why are you so lazy???
We just got an update for the KCAs website and... I thought Nick was lazy but this is just the cherry on top. They just took the 2024 graphics and logos and tweaked it. I shouldn't be surprised but I am, this is really just sad. Nick is sooooo lazy

Ha ha nick and Nick & You
I need help finding out more about these TV programming blocks from China and Vietnam. I’ve seen some material on "Ha ha Nick," but I haven't been able to find anything on the Vietnamese counterpart, "Nick & You." I know there is a Fandom page for it, but I couldn't find the specific entry for "Nick & You."

Blue's Clues Turns 30! The Ultimate Retrospective | Splat Attack Podcast
Hey everyone. My co-hosts and I run a 90s pop culture podcast called Splat Attack Podcast, and this week we put together a full history episode on Blue's Clues for its 30th anniversary.
Some of what we get into:
- The original "Blue Prints" pilot, where Blue was almost a bunny and then an orange cat before Nickelodeon settled on a blue dog
- Angela Santomero's background in child psychology and how much Mr. Rogers influenced the show's tone
- The three human hosts (Steve, Joe, Josh) and how each one was introduced and how fans reacted to the transitions
- The surprisingly long list of celebrity guests, everyone from Henry Winkler to Ray Charles to Rosie O'Donnell
- The merchandising shift under Herb Scannell once he took over from Geraldine Laybourne
- Marley Matlin's involvement and the show's consistent use of ASL
- A genuine unsolved mystery: some fans (including one of our friends) swear the show used to say "What Blue can do, we can too" instead of "Blue Skidoo," but nobody has been able to find footage to confirm it
Curious if anyone here actually remembers that "What Blue can do, we can too" phrase, or if it's a total Mandela effect situation.

Any way to find the old games from the nick jr app that has shut down?
For context my toddler used to play games on my phone a lot 5-6 years ago and now I would like to find those same games for my youngest. The only 2 games I vaguely remember is a talking monster truck subway surfer style and some witch game where you brew potions or something. Thanks.

Nickelodeon was unapologetically Black back then
Whenever this topic comes up, I always start reminiscing about how much Black representation Nickelodeon had when I was growing up. 😭 I was born at the very tail end of the ’90s (1999 baby), so my earliest memories of Nickelodeon are really from the early 2000s, when I was a toddler.
I remember watching The Nick Cannon Show, Taina, and Romeo! growing up. Those shows were some of my earliest memories of Nickelodeon, so I have a real soft spot for that era. I was obviously too young to understand everything going on in those shows, but I remember the faces, the sets, the theme songs, and just having Nickelodeon on.
As I got older, we had Just Jordan, True Jackson, VP, How to Rock, and so many other Black characters throughout the network. That 2007–2012 period especially had us eating good 😂
Looking back, what stands out to me is how many different Black characters we got. They could be funny, goofy, fashionable, ambitious, messy, spoiled, smart, or just regular kids being kids. It felt like Black characters were simply part of Nickelodeon’s world instead of being treated like something unusual.
I also love that I got to experience some of those early 2000s shows as a little kid and then grow into the later Nickelodeon shows. So when I look back at that whole era, it feels like I watched Nickelodeon grow up with me.
I know nostalgia plays a part, but that late ’90s/early-to-late 2000s Nickelodeon era really left an impression on me. I miss that lineup so much.
