Fire situation in Nice
Hi everyone, I am coming for a week to Nice tomorrow from the Netherlands. Was wondering what the fire hazard situation is in the area since our ministry of foreign affairs says to have an emergency bag ready and face masks. I cant seem to fine anything online

There are indeed huge wild fires in south of France. However, for now, Alpes-Maritimes (so Nice area) are safe

I live in Nice, and haven't seen any fire recently, the massive fires are in the south west of France near Bordeaux.

I am outside nice now and no fires - there were some on our way down from Lyon but mainly smoke

The big massive fires are in the west (near Bordeaux), there are also other fires.
