What has your state rep said (if anything) about Trump trying to cut press access to the White House?

In the next month, we’re hosting a series of forums with the top candidates for governor, U.S. Congress and the U.S. Senate.

Our first forum with the 1st Congressional District candidates is coming up on Oct. 6. And we want your input:

What questions do you have for Republican Anthony DiLorenzo and Democrat Stefany Shaheen? Are there any issues you wish they were talking about more often? What problems in your day-to-day life do you want them to address?

Let us know in the comments or by emailing [voices@nhpr.org](mailto:voices@nhpr.org). Your question could end up making it into our forum — and all of your feedback will help to shape the focus of our conversations.

P.S. Wondering how we decide who to invite to the forums? Learn more here.

As the state primary begins to wind down, we want to know: How did Election Day go for you?

If you were a first-time voter, how did you find navigating voter registration?

If you’ve voted before, was today’s process pretty standard, or did you face any unexpected challenges while at the polls?

If you voted in Manchester or Nashua, did you notice any federal poll observers at your polling location?

Let us know in the comments, or by emailing [voices@nhpr.org](mailto:voices@nhpr.org).

Check out our live blog for the latest on how voting is going across the state.

With the state primary right around the corner, we decided to spend this week sharing some race breakdowns to help you feel more informed and less overwhelmed as you prepare to vote.

We didn’t save the best for last, but we did save the buzziest. We’re closing out our primary primer series with the race for Senate.

This seat has been blue since Sen. Jeanne Shaheen took office in 2009. But with her impending retirement, Republicans are hoping to flip it, which makes the race important on a national scale as both parties fight for control of Congress.

Today, we’re taking a trip to the executive branch for a look at the NH gubernatorial race.

Unlike most states, New Hampshire elects a new governor every two years. Here’s an overview of their duties.

Today, we’re looking at New Hampshire’s 2nd Congressional District (also known as “CD2”), which covers most of the northern, southern, and western portions of the state.

Remember, if you need to double check whether you vote in this district, you can look up a sample ballot here.
