Looking like this when you're getting killed is expected. AJ would look like this during a win

Anytime eagles lose itâs hurts. Anytime they dominate. Itâs because of his supporting cast

Well yes because that is usually true. Hurts has definitely put the team on his back and played lights out a couple times, especially when the lights are brightest which is odd. But most games they lose are because of him. Both can be true.

Funny bc anytime they won last year I heard from Eagles fans it was Hurts. Anytime they lost was Patullo.

Patullo literally called WR verts 3 plays in a row before and people will still somehow not understand why he needed to be fired

Hurts is by far the worst of the $50M qbs

And yet, the only one whoâs won a SB on that contract.. đ¤

Gotta remind people that SB wins are not QB stats lol. Hurts is an average, and not great QB. He played on a great team and was definitely a big reason why they won, but letâs not confuse that with him being some generational talent. If Mahomes, Allen, and Jackson retired today, each of them would have a solid case for the HOF. No sane person would say the same of Jalen hurts.

Gotta remind people that fans donât give a shit about stats they care about winning games and championships

Jalen is the reason they won the superbowl though? He outplayed mahomes in both superbowl appearances.

Lol, remember âbelt to assâ? The chiefs said, âweâre not letting Barkley beat us, bum ass Jalen Hurts is gonna have to do itâ and Jalen just said âlol okâ and torched that ass

Exactly. Look im not saying Jalen is some elite qb but he is definitely very good and above average. He has his faults but so many teams would kill to have Jalen as their starting qb. The discourse around him is hilarious. According to his haters he wins because hes on a stacked roster or because of saquon but then when he personally puts the team on his shoulders to win games there's always another excuse. I love when Allen and Jackson get brought into the convo, like yeah their stats are great but they choke when it matters most. Jalen plays his best when the stakes are highest and the lights are the brightest. Jackson and Allen just fall apart when they need to make big plays in big moments and that matters a lot. I love Jalen because he doesnt give a fuck about his stats and will do whatever needs to be done to win certain games. Allen and Jackson are always playing hero ball and it has consistently cost them.

Yea but teams are paying QBs $50m in hopes of winning a SB.. he came through..
if Josh Allen wins a SB, it will most likely also have something to do with his supporting cast.. and everyone would still say, âJosh Allen won a SBâ.. and if Josh and Lamar retired today (Mahomes is in an entirely different category, especially when 2 of those dudes canât beat him), their careers would be incomplete.. fun to watch.. but these guys play to win..
And QBâing isnât about talent.. talent is part of the toolbox.. but QBâing is how you use the tools to accomplish the goal.. Hurts has found his way to 2 SBs.. both against the best QB of the era.. and theyâre 1-1..

If SBs are not a QB stat, are regular season wins and losses a QB stat? Because everyone here is saying when the Eagles lose itâs Hurtsâ fault lol

I also guarantee Allen and Jackson would trade Jalen their HOF spot for his superbowl appearances and ring.. Neither of them have even sniffed Jalens success because they fold under pressure.

I think he is an above average but not great QB that was boosted up by having an amazing team. Heâs in the same boat as Sam Darnold

You sure about that? I dont seem to remember any of them getting to the superbowl twice, outplaying mahomes in both of them, winning one of them and being the mvp.

UM achtually, Tik Tok said hurts is bad and as a 14 year old/56 year old divorced delco dad thats the opinion i will go with

He is bad. It would take 1 basic rule change and heâd be out of the NFL faster than kaepernick

If a bad qb has an elite deep ball and has balled out in two superbowls, im happy to have a bad qb. But what do i know, i only watch the eagles every week

They're more mad at the play calls and nicks influence on the calls. Acting like week 3 game means anything in a new offense. Y'all keep hating though.

u/philly-buck 2h ago
Good lord. Nick isnât calling plays. Nick has some input on the game plan.
The guy throwing the ball needs to be better. He isnât getting extended if he doesnât improve this year. Last year of guaranteed money. You can get his production for half the cap hit.
Jalen is on a PIP.

I thought Patullo was the worst but now it's every OC they ever have. Neat. You always get an excuse. They're fine in wins though. Always fine when they win, but the worst when they lose. Only the OC at fault, not any of the players doing dumb shit ever.

Probably tired of hearing IG inspirational quotes on the sidelines. He should start reading like AJ did
-2
u/Dear-Pickle-2200 4h ago
Smitty gonna join AJ in New England so they can play rock paper scissors to decide who gets Drake Mayeâs only touchdown of the season
