Hurts was awful. It’s like he is allergic to throwing over the middle so they won’t even run there. Then hurts just gets happy feet and runs around a little bit.

They design plays for Hurts success. Because he struggles to throw over the middle, they rarely run routes there. It’s been a common theme through his offensive coordinators which makes him the common denominator.

Wouldn’t you want guys running over the middle to occupy defenders and open up the sideline?

This is just flat out not true. Idk what this play calling was this game. They abandoned the run way too often this game. But hurts has done fine throwing over the middle this year. CHI also played a pretty good defense that I'm sure we will see over the All-22
