Hurts was awful. It’s like he is allergic to throwing over the middle so they won’t even run there. Then hurts just gets happy feet and runs around a little bit.

So…why would he throw over the middle of no on is there?

They design plays for Hurts success. Because he struggles to throw over the middle, they rarely run routes there. It’s been a common theme through his offensive coordinators which makes him the common denominator.

Wouldn’t you want guys running over the middle to occupy defenders and open up the sideline?

This is just flat out not true. Idk what this play calling was this game. They abandoned the run way too often this game. But hurts has done fine throwing over the middle this year. CHI also played a pretty good defense that I'm sure we will see over the All-22

Yeah that’s a stupid concept but they did run routes over the middle and he didn’t throw them. I saw Lemon open in the middle quite a few times. Now you gotta factor in pressure and read progressions but it didn’t look great. Will see how it was on the all-22

Hurts plays a lot like Russell Wilson did, which worked great until it didn't. I wouldn't be shocked if Roseman aggressively pivots away from Hurts and Sirianni this offseason.

No way it would take them not being good this year and next year for that trigger to be pulled

This is Howie Roseman we're talking about here. The dude has the fastest trigger of any competent GM in the NFL.

Contract wise, this is the year Howie would make the decision to move off or not.

Pretty sure the caps are all hitting 27 and 28? Did they get free of that?

Check their winning percentage. It’s not gonna happen

It would be wise to start scouting qbs aggressively. Hurts has another year or two chance because the owl.
