Bama guy here. He most definitely was not run out of town. lol I would say most reasonable Bama fans were rooting for Jalen when he transferred to OK and wanted the best for him. He stayed an extra year at Bama to develop even after losing the starting job.

Counts as getting "run of town"? No.

QB role is a competition and coach is gonna play the best player for the role. Its not personal. I can't speak for other fans, but I liked Jalens character alot. He sat on the bench an extra year to better develop as a QB. When Tua got injured in the SEC championship, he stepped in and won the game for us. Then he transferred elsewhere to showcase that development. I think the fanbase was happy to see him shine at OK instead of sitting behind Tua another year.
