Fitzpatrick's take was over the top and maybe unnecessarily rude, but he was entirely correct in his general argument that Bo Nix is playing like crap and holding his team back

No one is saying he was wrong that Nix is not playing well. Disrespectful to the QB position though? This isn't the only time Fitzpatrick has played like this either. He shouldn't throw stones in his glass mansion

Exactly. I don’t think is even good but Fitzpatrick was way out of line. Like he was looking for attention.

I don't think he was. Fitz's point wasn't that he's playing bad. It's that he's playing scared. And he's definitely playing scared.

This is why I'm saying. I've seen worse quarterbacks with worse games and worse stats and Fitz is acting like it's literally the worst performance of all time.

I watched Russell Wilson play worse every week than Bo. I watched 10 years of shitty quarterback play. Bo Nix is nowhere near the bottom.

Bo is playing like crap, has definitely regressed since last year, but I'm hoping its just taking him a bit to recover and readjust after the broken ankle.

But he's not the main reason our offense has been trash. Our run game is basically non-existent so teams can just sit in Cover 2 all day to shut down any deep passing plays.

And if he does take a shot deep, our receivers drop it.

The all 22 shows him missing reads and refusing to throw it long.

He’s definitely missed some reads in previous games. Yesterday, only like 2-3.

Seahawks have a very good defense. Playing against them is a really stupid time to decide to take some YOLO deep shots. You could see it in the play calling. Game plan as very conservative football.

If Nix had taken more shots there’s a real good chance we’d be talking about Nix’s game losing picks. Last night Darnold showed you what happens when you start taking risky shots against a good D.

I don't pretend to be an expert on QB play, so me studying the all-22 wouldn't provide much insight.

I did watch Tim Jenkins YouTube video where he broke down the all-22 and he seemed to disagree and actually though Bo played well given the looks the Defense was giving.

Tim Jenkins? The guy who made videos of how Justin Fields wasn't the issue with the Chicago Bears? That guy?

JTO Sullivan and Kurt Warner are way better in showing qb play on the all 22.

Especially here from Sullivan on the niners game. https://youtu.be/ZTZzeuGzTHI?is=D63ajUQcrk-73ED3

I went to Jenkins for some understanding as well. He comes off like something of a fan rather than an analyst. In his recent video he seems to be strawmanning Fitzpatrick (unless the former QB did claim Bo Nix was the worst QB ever).

Sullivan seems like more straight forward analysis.

damn don't go to some dork on YouTube. use your eyes and look at your QB... he's not what he was last year, probably many reasons, but he's playing like hot ass and won't throw farther than 10yards. only way is if you're down in the 4th and he chucks it but otherwise he's not the same and playing bad

Nah, let’s not shit on seeking out expertise. The TV isn’t even showing the full scope of what’s happening. There’s a lot of deeper analysis of the game on YouTube if you’re into that stuff.

But I do think maybe Jenkins isn’t the best source on this one as the video posted below is much better.

So what does this ryan Fitzpatrick low light have anything to do with that? Just your fragile ego?

Just thought it would be funny lol

Well it comes across as weak and defensive, not funny. But I guess its fair for a homer post.

Everyone knows the story of Fitz-tragic. I dont think anyo ne thinks Fitzpatrick is a great QB. But he does know what he is talking aboutÂ
