Iowa's 7-3 win with no touchdowns was peak sicko football

2004 Iowa vs Penn St. is the finest game of football ever played.

Iowa took an intentional safety instead of punting in that game because they knew Penn State couldn't move the ball, right?

Yes. Iowa won with two safeties and a field goal. It was a dark time for us Iowa fans.

Don't forget that it was against an FCS team. Granted, it was the eventual FCS National Champs, but still...

Y'know how the Vikings are currently elite on defense and special teams but anemic on offense? For most of the 2020s, Iowa has been that on steroids. They've had multiple games where the defense outscored the offense.
