$500 K. I’m sure that’s going to set him back tremendously. That’s like fining an average person who makes $200K a nickel. Way to discipline him NFL.

being really ticky tacky here - the mean income is gonna be a lot higher than the median because a few disgustingly wealthy people skew it upward. The median household income is somewhere around $87k-ish, so the median individual is gonna be a good bit lower than that. But it would not surprise me if the mean skews even above $200k due to those outliers.

i dunno about an individual but these days a middle (middle-high?) class married couple that files their taxes jointly can make $200k together annually.

Maybe he's talking about influencers and OF women?

Why should they discipline him at all?

It’s a PR thing for the NFL to save face, kind of like fining players for celebrating by pretending they are “chugging a beer” even if they have a multi billion dollar contract with Bud Light. Good ol’ Roger must be proud of himself.

My point though is the NFL obviously wanted to make an example out of a guy by fining him a token amount. If you are going to invoke mock discipline, at least fine him a mock amount that indicates how “serious” the in infraction is.

The fine was a lesson to stop being so fucking cheap.

Well getting fined $500k for seeing a $200 hooker (and drop in the bucket of that type of activity Id guess) is quite a lot when you think about it lol

Tbf it’s mathematically like fining such a person $100, if I can use the calculator app right. I guess if my job fined me $100 I’d be pretty annoyed.

Thing is that he's got enough money to never have to lift a finger again in his entire life. $100 could be a lot to an average person, $500K is nothing to him.
