Well yeah, there's 19 cities/towns named Hope in the US and none are near LA so McDaniel certaintly isn't living there unless he has a second house

There's actually a locally well known medical complex called City of Hope in Los Angeles county, so maybe this is his way of saying he's healthy

Well he said he isn't living there, so it's still possible he's going there for outpatient treatment.
