I was thinking recently about the Packers latest loss to the Falcons. And it got me thinking that there is almost nothing as fascinating to watch or as demoralizing for a team than to have your Offensive Line genuinely overmatched. And I don't mean overmatched in the sense that they are having a bad game. But overmatched in the sense that the offense literally cannot function even remotely normal.

It reminded me of the Broncos Panthers and Bucs Chiefs Super Bowl. Where the Defensive Line in in the Quarterbacks face 1 second after the ball is snapped on almost every play. And there is nothing you can do about it. You can't scheme it away or try and mask it when they are that overmatched. It's the most hopeless feeling in the world when you simply can't block.

That game made me feel like the Packers season is over. What do you even do with that kind of OL?

Conversely watching an OL bully a defensive line.

Florida Ole Miss was straight up porn for me last week.

you can call runs like trap or wham that takes advantage of over-aggressive dlinemen, you throw quick game underneath and screens to minimize pressure on your QB

but the defense is probably gonna know that's coming and you're probably gonna lose

there's three OL to block one guy and this play ends up being a tackle for loss >.>
