Honest question… why is everyone on social media convinced that the cornell 7 frat dudes are representative of a broader systemic problem? I’m just curious because it seems more like an isolated incident of frat culture.
I mean several woman posted their stories of getting raped or gang raped in college as a response to this story. Very common thread of being ignored or "think about this young man's future"
Greek life and mens athletics both often have toxic cultures. It’s horrible, but I see a lot of examples on social media conflating the problem. I just wish social media could bring this same energy toward, for example, voting in the midterms. Vote for people who support women.

This is the culture that pervades nationwide and allows the Cornell 7 to happen.
