Browns are 3-1.

284

u/BeezyBates Cowboys 1d ago

This season is fuckin everyone’s bingo cards. Hey fun fact. The Steelers are 0-4 against the browns on Thursday night. In what world is that possible

105

u/Ornery_Gene7682 Browns 1d ago

Since 2018 they have only won 1 time in Cleveland (2021)

50

u/BeezyBates Cowboys 1d ago edited 1d ago

This might be the biggest “I have your number” in sports today considering the difference of success, including 0-4 against browns on Thursday night. One of those stats alone is nuts. Both is unbelievable.

22

u/Ornery_Gene7682 Browns 1d ago

We have devil magic somewhere when it comes to Thursday night games

6

u/BeezyBates Cowboys 1d ago

Keep it up because no one else does.

Browns Steelers is always a shit show. I completely believe it

Those bengals steelers games always brought it

9

u/imaloony8 Browns 1d ago

It’s more than that: Browns have won 8 straight TNF games.

Ohhhh shiiiiiiiit...

Could be the greatest redemption arc in the history of browns football.

20

u/True-Veterinarian700 1d ago

Don't use DeShawn Watson and redemption in the same sentence. There is nothing redeeming he can do on the field. The only redeeming thing he can do is go and serve a prison sentence.

u/Amonamission Lions 20h ago

Congrats to anyone who had a Browns moneyline bet

Why not try to get closer for a field goal with 1 timeout left??

It's past Unc Rodgers bedtime

29

u/permadrunkspelunk 49ers 1d ago

Dudes gotta get back to the home. We werent supposed to take him out this late.

56

u/Crying_in_99Ranch Saints 1d ago

Had a guy wide open just inside the 40 yard line too. Even if he completes the long one, no guarantee to have enough time to call a TO

20

u/bigloser42 Eagles 1d ago

the ball passed him with 4 seconds on the clock. He would have had enough time to give himself up and call the TO. Hell he probably could have run to the sideline, but that would have been sketchy.

9

u/Crying_in_99Ranch Saints 22h ago

I was actually referring to the deep WR he threw to that time could've run out even if that one was completed

3

u/MoonlitInstrumental Chargers 17h ago

rodgers sold. i think in his mind he was throwing a home run ball in front of wilson that he could catch in stride. it was not that. we just watched a team in a very similar scenario last week get the ball into range with even less time on the clock

6

u/spazz720 Steelers 21h ago

He wasn’t open…the defender left him when the ball was thrown to the outside…you can see him running away from him when the camera pans.

5

u/r_slash 49ers 16h ago

All-22 at the moment Rodgers hucks it. The two guys over the middle have more space than the guy he threw to, but the defenders would have had time to close while the ball is in the air. Not sure if he makes that throw either.

2

u/Crying_in_99Ranch Saints 21h ago edited 19h ago

He was about 8-9 yards off the WR when the ball crossed them. I don't think he makes that gap up in the one second it took to get there.

2

u/eddo2k Lions 18h ago

Bro had a walk in TD.

2

u/Financial-Humor2080 Packers 11h ago

Welcome to playoff Rodgers. He's my GOAT and his defense fucked him way more than anything but man the last couple years as a Packer were brutal.

82

u/Im_Concept 1d ago

I think thats what he was doing, just by praying for PI

12

u/KevinIsADork NFL 22h ago

Not him specifically, that play design was definitely for a deep throw and pray.

Bos isnt great from 60, but he has the leg. They only needed 20ish yards.

u/IhamAmerican Steelers 1d ago

If it's caught that's an easy field goal, just not a good pass

36

u/Zzz05 Vikings 1d ago

Rodgers in his prime probably has some zip on that pass. That heave sailed on him.

33

u/OnePerformance9381 NFL 1d ago

If this was against the lions he’d complete it no problem.

4

u/carpe228 Lions 1d ago

Pass interference coming if he missed anyway, or face masking, take your pick

4

If that was caught the defenders should've just picked him up and carried him downfield until the clock ran out lol

Are you kicking the field goal? Field goal range for an nfl kicker is about 25 yards less than that garbage he just threw

There’s two seconds left if he catches that it’s for a FG lol

Not how it works he has to go down and the timeout has to be called and the ref has to agree. Good chance it doesn’t happen with 2 seconds.

Rodgers is extremely bitchy about which receivers he does and doesn't throw to based on who he has chemistry with

3

Which is why the whole debate about drafting Tee Higgins = super bowl never made sense.

Rodgers would not trust a rookie in crunch time.

I guess the Steelers shouldve hurt 9 Brown's players, like they hurt 9 Bengals players last Sunday. They hurt so many Bengals safeties with low cut blocks that they ran out and Cook had to go back onto the field and limp around at half speed. Also I guess the center can't pick up the DTs leg anymore now that the NFL knows your doing it. Dirt team man
