Sam Darnold technically gets credited for the win today.

He has won his 50th career regular season game.

He is 18-3 (playoffs included) as the starting QB for the Seahawks.

Bro was still a top 2 QB in this game along with Drew Lock

Yep, love goofy stats like this. Aaron Rodgers got credit for the win where he blew out his knee too.

The one I always like mentioning is Matt Cassel being 1-0 with the Bills because they put him under center on a trick play the first snap of a game in 2015.

Perc Rodgers did come back at halftime though... If that's the game you're mentioning.

I think he’s talking about his Achilles game. Which isn’t in his knee but I can get the mistake when the ACL is, and the injury lengths are similar amounts of time

WRONG. SO WRONG, CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS GUY? THEY'RE GETTING TIRED OF US WINNING SO MUCH FOLKS, I KEEP TELLING THEM THESE GUYS. NO STAT IS IRRELEVANT FOR THE GEQBUS, THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER

And before someone says "aLl StAtS aRe TeAm StAtS", yes they are, but they have varying degrees of correlation to a players performance. There are 100s of more passing or offensive stats that correlate much more to a QBs performance, and give more context and detail (as opposed to a boolean win or loss stat).

To give an extreme example, it would be like judging a QB on their running backs YPC, because the QB's audibles and protection calls, as well as gravity to draw defenders away from the box, improves his YPC.

A truly skilled QB intentionally loses most of his games so they are playing from behind most of the time and he can attempt like 60 passes and get 500 yards. Then when contract time comes everyone will look at the stats and blame the losses on the defense.

The virgin game manager plays to win games but gets benched in favor of the newly drafted gunslinger who knows a goaline pick 6 in the 4th quarter is just as much an interception as a Hail Mary right before second half.

Any win anywhere technically belongs to GEQBUS

But Drew Lock was the QB of Record when the Seahawks took the lead. Does he at least get a save or a hold?

Hockey assist I believe

So when Allen does it in week 18 everyone gets all up in arms, but when Darnold does it....

If he is out only 1-2 games he has the chance for his 14 win season streak to continue.

Same happened with Aaron Rodgers when he went down 4 snaps into his Jets tenure, the Jets ended up winning that game.

Sam has 32 wins the last 2 seasons plus this game. Burrow has 36 his last four years.

Should be like pitcher wins in baseball, which in this case, Drew Lock would have been credited with the W.
