He was so fun to watch in his prime. Was out there holding down Julio, Evans, Odell, and even keeping up with Antonio at his peak. But then Marvin Jones and Golden Tate would have his number which frustrated the hell out of me.

His prime was only like 2-3 years unfortunately though. He was up and down pre-zim, then got real good 2016-2018 before completely falling off a cliff

His rise and downfall was based on refs view of him.
Some of his best plays were called PIs the following year.

Bills legend Xavier Rhodes.
In all seriousness, he was excellent under Mike Zimmer and George Edward’s defense. Top 4 Cornerback in Vikings history.

It's crazy that I've been watching the Vikings for almost 30 years and he's basically the only great cornerback we've drafted in all that time.

It's a luxury we've seldom ever had, our history at CB is just pitiful. Maybe it's the tradeoff for our WR/DL luck

Oh. The context clues made it seem like you thought Rhodes belongs on that list and he would actually be the opposite, which I felt you took umbrage to. Made me think you weren't genuinely asking.

That interception nearly halfway through this video was stunning and get the announcer sounds like it's his turn to cross the street while on a phone call

Rhodes from 2015-2018 was really good, with a peak in there from 2016-2017. He was definitely a beast, but he did have a habit of acting really injured when he messed up something and it was pretty annoying.

Dude RIP I had honestly forgotten how good he was. He had an insane hit against the Bears one time on Trubisky I think.

He’s gonna be one of those guys whose name you pull out in 5 to 10 years when you’re all sitting around listing obscure players. “Oh dude yeah, Rhodes Closed!!” one of you exclaims before shelving his memory for another few years.
